I am pleased to be able to greet you one more day, today I wanted to comment about a new series of short stories that will be released starting today, as a preview of what will be the new season of a series that by now we all know: Elite. In the Third season the stories of the central characters are not completely closed, Nadia and Lu go to study in New York in the company of Omar, Valerio who knows God what has been done, Carla also goes to study abroad and that meant the end of their characters in the hit Netflix series.
As the actors who played those characters say goodbye to Elite for the time being, series creators Carlos Montero and Dario Madrona have proposed to create a series of miniseries around the mythical characters of the series set in the summer after Polo's death.
It is planned to premiere 4 short stories as a prelude to the fourth season of Elite, which with a new cast aims to repeat the success of its previous seasons. Netflix has planned to premiere each day a new short story starting with 'Guzmán + Caye + Rebe' today June 14, on the 15th it will be the turn of 'Nadia + Guzmán', on Wednesday 16 we can watch 'Ander + Omar + Alexis' and on Thursday 17 will come the farewell with 'Carla + Samuel'.

Me complace poder saludarles un día más, hoy quería comentar acerca de una nueva serie de historias cortas que saldrán a partir de hoy, como adelanto de lo que será la nueva temporada de una serie que estas alturas todas conocemos: Elite. En la Tercera temporada las historias de los personajes centrales no quedan completamente cerradas, Nadia y Lu se van a estudiar a Nueva York en compañía de Omar, Valerio quien sabe Dios que se ha hecho, Carla también se va a estudiar en el extranjero y eso suponía el fin de sus personajes en la exitosa serie de Netflix.
En vista de que los actores que interpretaron dichos personajes le dicen adiós a Elite por lo pronto, los creadores de la serie Carlos Montero y Darío Madrona se han propuesto crear una serie de miniseries alrededor de los míticos personajes de la serie ambientadas en el verano después de la muerte de Polo.
Está previsto a estrenarse 4 historias breves como antesala de la cuarta temporada de Elite, que con un elenco nuevo pretende repetir el éxito de sus temporadas anteriores. Netflix tiene planeado estrenar cada día una nueva historia breve comenzando con 'Guzmán + Caye + Rebe' hoy 14 de junio, el día 15 será el turno de 'Nadia + Guzmán', el miércoles 16 podremos ver 'Ander + Omar + Alexis' y el jueves 17 llegará la despedida con 'Carla + Samuel'.

Today's premiere of the short story of 'Guzmán + Caye + Rebe' marks an important change as a prelude to what is to come. More relaxed, less dramatic characters that function as the story closure we deserved. Here we have more time to get to know the main characters, their fears, their lives and we even get to understand them, something that in the original series due to the weight of the other stories is lost in the narrative.
I loved the twist that the creator gave to the story with a humorous touch that I never thought I would get in this series. Everything seems to work with three characters that in the series have nothing in common, I didn't even imagine how the story of these 3 would be but it ends up being fun. Guzman (Miguel Bernardeau) is more handsome than ever, there is little left of the little boy from the first season, he looks mature and different. Rebeka (Claudia Salas) continues to be the goofball of the group, there is no cooler girl than her in the plot. And last but not least, Cayetana whose actress Georgina Amorós, shines with her own light, she looks beautiful and uninhibited.

Con el estreno de hoy de la historia breve de 'Guzmán + Caye + Rebe' se marca un cambio importante como antesala de lo que se viene. Personajes más relajados, menos dramáticos que funcionan como cierre de historia que merecíamos. Aquí tenemos más tiempo de conocer a los protagonistas, sus miedos, sus vidas y hasta llegamos a entenderlos algo que en la serie original por el peso de las otras historias se pierde en la narrativa.
Ame el giro que le dio el creador a la historia con un toque humorístico que jamás pensé obtener en esta serie. Todo parece funcionar con tres personajes que en la serie no tienen nada en común, ni siquiera imaginaba como sería la historia de estos 3 pero termina siendo divertido. Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau) está más guapo que nunca, ya poco queda del niñato de la primera temporada, se ve maduro y diferente. Rebeka (Claudia Salas) sigue siendo el vacilón del grupo, no hay una chica más buena onda que ella dentro de la trama. Y por último esta Cayetana cuya actriz Georgina Amorós, brilla con luz propia se le ve guapísima y desinhibida.
It didn't take more than 3 episodes of between 15 and 9 minutes to create a different approach to a product we already know. The story is very simple: Rebeka invites her friends to a party at her new house, after the nightmare of her life in Las Encinas, she chooses to have a good time in summer. But to her party will arrive the most antagonistic characters that exist if we compare them with her: Guzman and Cayetana. When they realize that no one else will arrive, they begin to ingest some zetas that will make them delirious and confess their fears and their truths. After so many confessions they realize that that house is a cocaine den and try to escape from some thugs who intend to keep all the drugs in that house.
Nothing in Elite is plausible but the story works, perhaps because of the characters' connection with the audience. Elite Short Stories feels so original that it serves as a prelude to a series from which much is expected and manages to shine beyond the real impact of the fourth season. For now we can only wait for the other short stories to be released, I loved the first one and I think you will too.
No han hecho falta más de 3 episodios de entre 15 y 9 minutos para crear un enfoque diferente de un producto que ya conocemos. La historia muy sencilla Rebeka invita a sus compañeros a una fiesta en su nueva casa, después de la pesadilla que ha supuesto su vida en Las Encinas, elige pasarla bien en verano. Pero a su fiesta llegaran los personajes más antagónicos que existen si los comparamos con ella: Guzmán y Cayetana. Cuando se dan cuenta que nadie más llegara comienzan a ingerir unas zetas que los harán delirar y a confesar sus temores y sus verdades. Después de tantas confesiones se dan cuenta que aquella casa es una guarida de cocaína e intentaran escapar de unos matones que pretenden quedarse con toda la droga que hay en aquella casa.
Nada en Elite es verosímil pero su historia funciona, quizás por la conexión de los personajes con el público. Elite Historias Breves se siente tan original que sirve como antesala para una serie de la cual se espera mucho y logra brillar más allá del impacto real que tenga la cuarta temporada. Por lo pronto queda esperar a que se estrenen las demás historias breves, la primera me ha encantado y creo que a ustedes también les gustara.
