Hola mis queridos lectores de Hive y amantes del mundo cinematográfico ❤️
Es fin de semana y creo que es buena oportunidad para disfrutar un buen film de terror, y creo que este lo será. Porque lo dijo?, porque pienso que es una propuesta un tanto diferente a lo que venimos acostumbrados en el género de terror, ya que esta historia tiene un origen incluso se cree que es una precuela de un título que ya está, asi que da mucha mas curiosidad para ver.
Aunque soy muy crítica para este tipo de género porque pienso que la mayoría están deficientes en cuanto a efectos especiales, actuación incluso de guión, este título "La hermana muerte" nos centra en un ambiente religioso, que ya de por si da un poco de respeto y temor por todas las imágenes de los santos, el silencio y los murmullos agotados de los rezos, pero que papel juega la protagonista y como termina de tal manera para llegar a tener una segunda parte muy conocida?, una monja ciega apodada con este mismo nombre...muy interesante.
El film comienza con una pequeña niña adorada o mejor dicho venerada por todos en el pueblo por un milagro que ésta logro hacer, ver la imagen de la virgen, lo que llevo a conocerla con el apodo de "la niña santa". 10 años pasan y vemos que la niña ha crecido y se dirige a un convento para consagrase como monja... aunque también con este aislamiento busca aclarar sus ideas y si verdaderamente siente alguna vocación que va más allá del apodo y lo que pudo haber hecho años atrás.
La joven novicia Narcisa interpretado por (Aria Bedmar), empieza sus tareas como maestra en el convento ahora escuela de niñas, pero, no todo podía ser normal en un lugar que esconde muchos secretos, y muy oscuros además, aunque eso, a medida que transcurre la película se deja ver, no solo en la evolución y descubrimiento de los poderes sobrenaturales o "dones" de Narcisa para ver o percibir cosas paranormales, sino también los secretos que guardan aquellas paredes del convento y las monjas principales que alli viven.
En las escenas finales, sucede algo que prácticamente tiene que ver con la conexión de la segunda parte, y él porque de su nuevo apodo, pero esa se las compartiré en otra ocasión, pero al ver está primera y como conectaron todo muy bien, incluyendo el final, creo que la segunda no nos decepcionará.
Mi puntuación para esta serie sería un 9 de 10, la verdad me pareció un terror muy bueno en dónde los sustos, los entes paranormales y todo lo oscuro que se desarrolla tiene un origen, una razón...y para mi el final fue el correcto...algo poco usual en este género 😅, si la miras entenderás porque. Aquí les comparto el tráiler para que la disfruten y se animen a verla si es que aún no lo han hecho.. y ya luego me cuentan que tal les pareció 😸.

It's the weekend and I think it's a good opportunity to enjoy a good horror film, and I think this one will be. Because I think it is a somewhat different proposal to what we are used to in the horror genre, since this story has an origin, it is even believed to be a prequel to a title that is already there, so it gives much more curiosity to see.
Although I am very critical for this type of genre because I think most are deficient in terms of special effects, acting and even script, this title "Sister Death" focuses on a religious environment, which already in itself gives a little respect and fear for all the images of saints, silence and murmurs exhausted prayers, but what role plays the protagonist and how it ends in such a way to get to have a second part well known ... a blind nun nicknamed with the same name ... very interesting.
The film begins with a little girl adored or rather revered by everyone in the village for a miracle she managed to do, to see the image of the Virgin Mary, which led to her being known by the nickname "the holy girl". Ten years pass and we see that the girl has grown up and goes to a convent to consecrate herself as a nun... although also with this isolation she seeks to clarify her ideas and if she really feels some vocation that goes beyond the nickname and what she could have done years ago.
The young novice Narcisa played by (Aria Bedmar), begins her tasks as a teacher in the convent, now a school for girls, but, not everything could be normal in a place that hides many secrets, and very dark ones too, although that, as the film progresses, is shown, not only in the evolution and discovery of the supernatural powers or "gifts" of Narcisa to see or perceive paranormal things, but also the secrets that keep those walls of the convent and the main nuns who live there.
In the final scenes, something happens that practically has to do with the connection of the second part, and the reason for her new nickname, but I will share it with you another time, but after seeing this first one and how they connected everything very well, including the ending, I believe that the second one will not disappoint us.
My score for this series would be a 9 out of 10, I really thought it was a very good horror where the scares, the paranormal entities and everything dark that develops has an origin, a reason...and for me the ending was the right one...something unusual in this genre 😅, if you watch it you will understand why.
