Bueno para contarles un poco el contexto de cómo fue que llegué a ver la película, es sencillo, ya sabía de ella, pues su lanzamiento fue recientemente el 3 de septiembre por la plataforma de streaming de Amazon prime, la verdad mis esperanzas de verla no eran muchas puesto que no tengo una cuenta, pero cómo últimamente paso bastante tiempo con mis tíos, mi tío me prestó su tlf y su cuenta para poder verla. Así que fue así cómo también, gracias a Sofi mi hermana, decidí verla y hablarles de ella.

Well to tell you a little bit the context of how I got to see the movie, it's simple, I already knew about it, since its release was recently on September 3rd by Amazon prime streaming platform, the truth my hopes to see it were not many since I don't have an account, but how lately I spend enough time with my uncles, my uncle lent me his tlf and his account to be able to see it. So thanks to Sofi, my sister, I decided to watch it and tell you about it.
Pero por su lado, Ella es soñadora, ve mucho más allá de lo material, quiere ser una mujer de negocios y aunque ve su sueño de ser modista y confeccionar vestidos un poco difícil de alcanzar, no deja de creer en ella.
Vive en un reino anticuado dónde piensan que la mujer no debería trabajar y no son buenas con los negocios, ella piensa distinto, sabe que las mujeres son capaces y tienen los mismos derechos.
There are many things I would like to talk about the movie, but I will start with the basics.
The story is based on the life of Ella, or Cinderella as her stepsisters and stepmother call her, in this aspect not many things change from the original plot. You know a frustrated stepmother with two not very smart daughters, and an environment in which Ella is basically used as a servant. Despite that, compared to the previous adaptations the stepsisters include Cinderella a bit and don't treat her as badly as her stepmother.
But on her side, Ella is a dreamer, she sees far beyond the material, she wants to be a businesswoman and although she sees her dream of being a dressmaker and making dresses a bit difficult to achieve, she doesn't stop believing in it.
She lives in an old-fashioned kingdom where they think that women should not work and are not good at business, she thinks differently, she knows that women are capable and have the same rights.
Es así, cómo Ella sigue en busca de su sueño y defendiendo lo que siente y piensa, mientras por su lado en el reino el príncipe Robert se ve obligado a casarse y conseguir esposa para poder ser el sucesor del rey, que es su padre.
Cenicienta, luego de varios acontecimientos ve muy remota la idea de asistir al baile que se hará para la búsqueda de la nueva reina y esposa de Robert.
Hasta que derrepente, una mariposa se convierte en su salvación. Les explicaré lo que para mí significó la mariposa. Según mi perspectiva esto tiene que ver con el crecimiento, el avance, el despegar las alas y volar, por eso es como su hada madrina. (Que es curioso que es un hombre, esto da a entender que las mujeres pueden desempeñar puestos de hombres y viceversa).
Esta película es de comedia musical, lo cuál me atrapó desde el principio. Su banda sonora y canciones son lo máximo.
Lo que me encantó es que desde un principio mi hermana me había dicho que la viera con mucho detalle y estuviera al pendiente y es que deja muchas cosas buenas, y de empoderamiento femenino. Cómo por ejemplo en la escena del baile aprecié mucha diversidad en las chicas, no son todas rubias o súper perfectas cómo las películas clásicas acostumbran.
Además casi lloro cuando oí la canción que bailaron, creo que debería dejar que la vieran antes de mencionar cuál es pero sin duda una de mis partes favoritas de la película.
Thus, Ella continues in search of her dream and defending what she feels and thinks, while in the kingdom Prince Robert is forced to get married and get a wife to be the successor of the king, who is her father.
Cinderella, after several events, sees very remote the idea of attending the ball that will be held for the search of the new queen and wife of Robert.
Until suddenly, a butterfly becomes her salvation. I will explain what the butterfly meant to me. According to my perspective it has to do with growth, advancement, taking off the wings and flying, so it is like her fairy godmother (which is curious that it is a man, this implies that women can play men's roles and vice versa).
This movie is a musical comedy, which grabbed me from the beginning. Its soundtrack and songs are the best.
What I loved is that from the beginning my sister had told me to watch it in detail and to be aware of it, and it leaves a lot of good things, and of female empowerment. For example, in the dance scene I appreciated a lot of diversity in the girls, they are not all blondes or super perfect as classic movies are used to.
Also I almost cried when I heard the song they danced to, I think I should let them see it before mentioning what it is but it is definitely one of my favorite parts of the movie.
Sin embargo, a pesar de que amé la mayoría de la película, hubo ciertas cosas que me disgustaron cómo por ejemplo qué la figura del rey en su mayoría es machista, creo que abusa un poco de su poder e intenta siempre hacerle ver a la reina sobre todo que es mejor que ella, aunque siento que es sólo una idea retrógrada que le implantaron.
Al final no puedo decir lo que pasa porque seria spoiler claro, pero me queda decirles que princesa o reina es aquella que no sigue los estigmas o patrones de la sociedad, las mujeres son reinas cuando cumplen sus sueños y luchan por lo que aman y tienen esa habilidad de liderazgo.
Creo que es una película que deja mucho que decir y pone a pensar a personas con verdadera visión claro está. Para las mujeres que siempre han sido soñadoras, han pensado en cumplir sus sueños, en dejar un legado, para las mujeres que quieren dejar de ser silenciadas, esta es su película. Lastimosamente, la sociedad antes no era cómo ahora, hemos avanzado en algunos casos y retrocedido en otros, pero sin duda esta es la verdadera historia de un cuento de hadas. Es la verdadera historia de una princesa.
However, even though I loved most of the movie, there were certain things that I disliked, for example the figure of the king is mostly sexist, I think he abuses his power a bit and always tries to make the queen see that he is better than her, although I feel that it is just a retrograde idea that was implanted in her.
At the end I can not say what happens because it would be spoiler clear, but I can tell you that princess or queen is one who does not follow the stigmas or patterns of society, women are queens when they fulfill their dreams and fight for what they love and have that leadership ability.
I think it is a film that leaves a lot to be said and makes people with true vision think of course. For women who have always been dreamers, who have always thought about fulfilling their dreams, about leaving a legacy, for women who want to stop being silenced, this is the movie for you. Sadly, society was not like it is now, we have advanced in some cases and regressed in others, but this is undoubtedly the true story of a fairy tale. It is the true story of a princess.
Les digo que si de verdad tienen las maneras o pueden verla se las súper recomiendo, es bastante entretenida y pueden verla hasta en familia. Más allá de todo lo que ya dije esta película es para todos, el verdadero mensaje es que todos podemos luchar por nuestros sueños.

I tell you that if you really have the means or you can see it, I highly recommend it, it is quite entertaining and you can even watch it with your family. Beyond everything I already said this movie is for everyone, the real message is that we can all fight for our dreams.
