Another visit to Deliblato Sands (Banat, Serbia), here are the mushrooms .... It hadn't rained yet, but I still came across mushrooms ... Growing from dry sand .... Some are fresh and some are a bit rotten .. ..
They certainly managed to surprise me ....
Xerocomus communis sin. -
Xerocomus chrysenteron
One of them is a goldfinch from the mushroom family ... (I guess it's that mushroom)
There were them on this part of the road last year as well ... And one side of the road to the forest was overgrown with those mushrooms ....
Older examples can be seen here and, although I think they are a bit like that due to the lack of water ....
Those mushrooms are much nicer when it's the rainy season .... it's raining right now and I can't wait to take that walk again .... And otherwise to go on forest trails, because there are so many different mushrooms in the depths of the forest ... Shape, size and color .... And I hope to use this upcoming weekend to find new mushrooms ...
Along with this mushroom, I came across a beautiful specimen of turkey tail ....
The turkey tail is a common fungus of the genus Trametes. Versicolor means "multicolored" because this mushroom can be found with big differences in color .....
This species is one of the world's most common polypores .... It grows on coniferous and deciduous trees in summer and autumn. It is considered an extremely medicinal fungus. Wikipedia
Scientific name: Trametes versicolor
