The wise toad has pointed me to some more mushrooms.
The toad is the oracle of where the mushrooms grow. Look over there human.
The toad has found me some kind of poisonous looking mushroom with gnats all over it.
Toad has also pointed me to another strange mushroom. Probably an amanita of some sort.
These mushrooms were covered in crumbly white. I'm not sure if this is another fungus growing on it or if this is just how these mushrooms grow.
I managed to find some false turkeytail with some unusual colors.
I missed this ramaria in its prime. Now its a bit dried out from the summer.
I found a really old version of ramaria as well. It turned black.
Here is a couple more leaves of chicken of the woods. This subspecies is a bit crumbly compared to others.
This is what the chicken looked like last week.
Here is what the same patch looks like a week later. It is already starting to get old and lose its orange color.
I wish the toad had told me where the good chicken of the woods was growing instead of the poisonous toadstools.
Happy #mushroommonday :-)
