Cada etapa en la vida de nuestros hijos es un reto a superar, pero sin duda alguna el reto mas grande fue el diagnostico de mi hijo mas pequeño Sebastian con "Autismo vs TDHA"

El autismo y el Trastorno de déficit de atención con hiperactividad (TDHA) son trastorno del desarrollo, no es una enfermedad sino una condición con la que se tendrá que aprender a vivir con ella para toda la vida. Afecta mayormente a niños varones, generalmente se diagnostica en la infancia. Puede afectar la parte cognitiva (dificultad de aprendizaje), sensorial (sensibilidad a sonidos, luces, texturas) y déficit en el lenguaje, (dificultad para comunicarse) entre otras características.

Actualmente Sebastian cuenta con 7 años en su edad cronológica, pero su edad mental es de un niño de 5 años, tiene déficit de lenguaje, alguna que otra conducta disruptiva, pero estamos trabajando con su terapeuta y desde casa con abordaje nutricional y cognitivo, en su ultima consulta psicológica, su pronostico fue bueno, por lo que debemos seguir trabajando con sus terapias para continuar con su progreso.
-Currently Sebastian has 7 years in his chronological age, but his mental age is that of a 5-year-old child, he has a language deficit, some other disruptive behavior, but we are working with his therapist and from home with a nutritional and cognitive approach, in his last psychological consultation, his prognosis was good, so we must continue working with his therapies to continue his progress.
Hoy puedo decir que Sebastian es un niño, con intereses como cualquier niño de su edad, es sociable, muestra interés en integrarse en juegos con otros niños. es empatico y amigable, expresa y entiende los sentimientos de otros, realiza sus actividades escolares ajustadas a su nivel cognitivo, ademas de colaborar y hacerse participe en uno que otro quehacer del hogar.
Today I can say that Sebastian is a child, with interests like any child of his age, he is sociable, he shows interest in playing games with other children. He is empathetic and friendly, expresses and understands the feelings of others, carries out his school activities adjusted to his cognitive level, in addition to collaborating and participating in the odd household chores.
El camino recorrido no ha sido fácil, pero todo a valido la pena, con disciplina, hábitos, trabajo e equipo entre doctores, terapeutas y apoyo familiar han dado sus frutos, queda mucho trabajo por hacer y camino por recorrer, pero con fe en Dios, constancia, y mucho amor seguiremos avanzando.
