I took a day off today.

I canceled my work work today because I was afraid I was getting sick. Although I wanted to have a relaxed slow day off, I for some reason invited my kids friends for a playdate. It went well, they behaved and played nicely. It’s good to be able for kids to socialize without masks and social distancing.

My husband surprised me bringing a cake for no reason, just wanted to something nice to us.

We had butternut squash soup with empanadas and then our dessert.

Kids were playing with their toys. I’m always worried about their build sets, that if someone accidentally breaks them they might start crying. Am I a crazy mama and do I need to just let them play as it goes and get a glass of wine (meaning relax)?

We just have way too much lego and lego like blocks that won’t fit in our tiny apartment. In this kind of situations I wish we had a house, but I like living in the apartment and having neighbors all around us is kind of fun.

Well, anyway, it was good day. Kids had fun, I had rest (did some laundry). Tomorrow is another wonderful day off and most of the cleaning is done. We’ll have time to do what we want finally. Maybe I’ll have energy to do art with my daughter.
