Los valores son los pilares de la educación de nuestros hijos. Para transmitirlos de la forma correcta debemos convertirnos en el ejemplo a seguir para ellos.

Se que hay muchos valores, pero ¿cuáles deberían de ser los principales que debemos inculcarles a nuestros hijos?
I know there are many values, but what should be the main ones that we should instill in our children?
Cada padre o madre consideramos unos valores primordiales para educar a nuestros hijos desde pequeños y lograr que ellos sean mejores personas, estos son los míos:
Each father or mother considers some fundamental values to educate our children from an early age and make them better people, these are mine:
La humildad, los niños deben de saber que son iguales al resto de los demás niños, no hay mejores ni peores en ningún sentido.
Humility, children should know that they are the same as other children, there are no better or worse in any way.
La autoestima, El niño debe de saber valorarse a sí mismo. Para potenciar su autoestima, podemos utilizar el elogio cada vez que realice una buena acción o tarea para insentivarlos.
Self-esteem, The child must know how to value himself. To boost their self-esteem, we can use praise every time they do a good deed or task to motivate them.
La gratitud, es muy importante y valioso que reconozcamos a nuestros hijos las cosas que hace bien por nosotros y los demás.
Gratitude, it is very important and valuable that we recognize our children the things they do well for us and for others.
La amistad nuestros hijos deben aprender el valor de la amistad y el cariño mutuo que nace con el contacto de otras personas, que existen amistades duraderas.
Friendship Our children must learn the value of friendship and mutual affection that is born with the contact of other people, that there are lasting friendships.
La felicidad, debemos de contagiarles nuestra felicidad, transmitírles eso a ellos, para los niños es importante vivir el día con alegría, optimismo, sentido del humor, sólo aquel que es feliz podría transmitir felicidad.
Happiness, we must transmit our happiness to them, transmit that to them, for children it is important to live the day with joy, optimism, a sense of humor, only those who are happy could transmit happiness.
La responsabilidad, debemos enseñarles a los niños que todo lo que se hace tiene consecuencias positivas y negativas, que hay que asumir la responsabilidad de las acciones para bien y para mal.
Responsibility, we must teach children that everything that is done has positive and negative consequences, that we must take responsibility for actions for better and for worse.
El perdón, debemos enseñarle a nuestros niños a aprender a reconocer los errores y a disculparse, que es la forma de enmendar el daño causado.
Forgiveness, we must teach our children to learn to recognize mistakes and to apologize, which is the way to make amends for the damage caused.
