Let's look at this picture. I photographed this tower this way intentionally. At that moment, the cloud looked like a hat on the top of the tower. But when a few days later I looked at the photo again, it all reminded me of a mug of beer with foam.
Ось візьмемо цей знімок. Я сфотографувала цю башту так спеціально. В той момент хмарка була схожа на шапочку. А коли через кілька днів я знову подивилась на фото, мені це все нагадало кухоль пива з піною.

These abandoned ruins are the former ** Austen-Saken Castle **. Its first owner was Count Carl Saken. After his death, the estate went to his chamberlain with the long name Ivan Christoforovich von der Austen Saken.
Here's what the castle looked like in its best days (to be honest, it's still impressive):

And on the same site where the photo is taken from, I've read an amazing story which I want to share with you:
In 1904 it was decided to sell the land and estate of Vorontsov-Dashkov as unprofitable. Since it was impossible to sell a large array of his unprofitable farm in one hand, the count decided to sell it by bargaining in parts to different people. In the same year, on the appointed day, rich buyers arrived at the owner's estate in phaetons. Among this colorful crowd stood out a scantily clad man with a bag over his shoulders. The sale began, but none of those present even guessed how much wealth is hidden in that bag. The rich poor man bought the central part of the estate along with the horse farm, land and forest. The new owner, Kulyk Andriy Moiseyovych, was an ordinal peasant from the village of Myronivka (near the town of Bila Tserkva). Thus the lion's share of the count's estate was in the hands of a completely illiterate, very old, but rich peasant.

У 1904 р. землі і маєток Воронцова-Дашкова вирішено було продати як такі, що не приносили прибутку. Оскільки великий масив свого нерентабельного господарства в одні руки продати було неможливо, граф вирішив продати його з торгу частинами різним людям. Цього ж року в призначений день до маєтку власника прибули на фаетонах багаті покупці. Серед цього різнобарвного натовпу виділявся бідно одягнений чоловік з торбою за плечима. Почався розпродаж, але ніхто з присутніх навіть не здогадувався наскільки велике багатство ховається в тій торбі. Багатому бідаку дісталася центральна частина маєтку разом з кінним заводом, землею та лісом. Новий власник,Кулик Андрій Мойсейович, був простим селянином з с. Миронівки (біля м. Біла Церква). Таким чином левова частку маєтку графа опинилась в руках абсолютно безграмотного, дуже старого, але багатого селянина.
