Lockdown life is kinda frustrating, all-time staying at home is kind of mental pressure I feel. Yes, I can go out but obviously maintaining rules and restriction which kind of reminds me of my teenage life. I used to complain a lot when I was a teenager, no1 complaint was why my mom never let me go out alone? Those days were gone, they are now a memory and I kept them on my memory frame...
Sometimes I feel guilty for my past activities, why I yelled at my mom or why I used to complain a lot. Whatever my mom did for me is priceless and no matter how much I want now, that time is gone forever.
We often fail to grab opportunities or we just don't know how to grab opportunities or what is exactly opportunity. Obviously, if I talk about my teenage life, I did mistakes and lost so many opportunities. Why? Because of my immaturity and lack of experiences, why did I complain? Perhaps I had no idea the true meaning of life and that's why I missed the golden opportunity to spend time with my mom until the end...
My mom taught me many things and among them, one lesson was about opportunities. We often wait for a big opportunity, we expect a lot and want something bigger for ourselves that's why we fail to see the small opportunities in life. Time won't wait for anyone and just because of waiting for the good, big opportunities, you won't be able to do anything in life. Bitter truth or you wanna say I am wrong. I might be but let me give you a quick example.
One of my classmates used to think she wants a good job for herself, better salary, benefits, and often she used to reject small job offers. Because of her ambition and expectations, she wasted her 1 year like this where other classmates became advanced, got the promotion, and got the position which she desired for. Who is responsible here? Only my classmate because she wasted her 1 year for nothing.
I am not saying dream, ambition, expectation is not good, obviously, you should chase your dreams and should wait for the big, better opportunities but remember one thing if you see everything as an opportunity, life will be easier for you and perhaps you will be able to achieve your dreams soon. Because if one door opens then several doors will be opened for you...
