I'm Khanh. Today, I'll take you to a sliding waterfall 35km from the center of Da Nang city to the northwest of the city, called Khe Bom.
*How to get there? *
We travel along the Nguyen Tat Thanh sea route, then proceed to the La Son Tuyet Loan highway. We will take the temporary expressway La Son Tuyet Loan since there is no road here yet and the expressway is not yet operational. From the city center, take the main road on the highway that runs along the left-hand side.
As the day progress, we can run into the stream so that we are on the edge of the stream and walk about a mile to the waterfall. When staying overnight camping, it is best to park your car at the local house on the street, then follow the road that runs under the stream once we are in the stream. Everyone must be very careful because the road is quite slippery.
There were seven of us going, and some foreigners also entered the waterfall. This waterfall requires very challenging climbs in order to reach it. As far as I am concerned, you should use a trail up the mountainside rather than climbing rocks.
The waterfall is located along a large lake, and the waterfall is not too steep. It was fun to climb up and slide down the waterfall. Get a thrill by trying it. You can swim in it without any worries. We climbed to the top of the waterfall in the afternoon to avoid the sun and ate lunch, then discovered a spot to camp overnight. When it was almost afternoon, we left the stream to return to the city to end a wonderful weekend.
I'm planning to spend the night here next time.
