Stroll around Clarke Quay

Located close to the River and Boat Quay, it is a bustling entertainment and leisure district that is filled with an exciting collection of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, art galleries and more to explore. Clarke Quay Central is a popular tourist destination and is well-known for its bustling atmosphere, which is guaranteed to be a good time. It was my favorite place to walk around on a weekend when I was in Singapore.

It's easy to get to Clarke Quay by taking the MRT train to Clarke Quay Station on the North-South Line. Once you're there, you can easily walk to your destination or take a taxi or bus.

If you're in the mood for a leisurely stroll with friends or family or look for a night out in Singapore, Clarke Quay is a great place to explore. The Singapore River and the old colonial buildings with interesting facades make for a fascinating place to walk around. It's easy to find street-side dining that will satisfy any food craving. From seafood to burgers, to every type of cuisine in between, there's no need to go hungry while exploring the quay.

This area is lively with plenty of activities to do such as: watching live bands, shopping for clothes, or grabbing a coffee from one of the many cafés on the bank of the River or also enjoy fantastic views from the rooftop bars. Among them, taking a 40-minute cruise trip along the Singapore River is highly recommended which will take you to Clarke Quay's most popular attractions. Don't miss it once at Clarke Quay.

Walking around Clarke Quay on the weekend is a common activity for many locals and tourists alike. The waterfront area is packed with people enjoying the sights and sounds of Singapore, as well as trying out some of the local food. One of my favourite things to do on a Saturday night takes a walk down Clarke Quay and buy some street food and snacks. There's an overwhelming variety of vendors to choose from, so it can be difficult to find something good. There are a few Vietnamese restaurants found around the area, such as Little Saigon and Nam Nam Noodle Bar.

The best time to go is during sunset when the city lights up in a gorgeous hue of orange and pink. You can also stroll along the shore of the Singapore River with towering skyscrapers in the background. Some of my favourite nearby spots in the area include Merlion Park with its majestic stature, and also Marina Bay Sands which offers some great views of the city.
