Cham Island~ A Lovely Tiny Paradise off The Hoi An Coast

I am so excited to share my trip to Cham Island, Vietnam. I was looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to spend my vacation in the summer last year. I came across Cham Island and it seemed like the perfect fit. This island is very close to Hoi An- the ancient town where I could be transported back in time to the old and spend a night here.

Located just a few kilometres off the coast of Hoi An, Cham Island is a tiny island that has been a popular destination for domestic tourists for many years and has only recently been discovered by foreigners.

The small island is only 15 sq miles in size and is home to more than 3,000 people who live in rural villages across the island. One of the most common occupations on Cham Island is fishing, which has been a key part of life on this island for centuries.

This beautiful, secluded island offers a nice getaway for tourists looking for something different on their vacation. The island is only accessible by boat from Hoi An and provides a number of activities such as kayaking, fishing and snorkelling. The water around Cham Island is so clear that you can see the fish swimming near the surface; it truly feels like you are in an aquarium!

The shores of the island are home to a variety of fish and coral. Snorkelling and other water activities are popular during the day but during the night, tourists can enjoy a performance of waterfalls and fire.

It would be best to travel to the island for 2 days 1 night, so you can take advantage of everything the island has to offer 😍

We were at the Cua Dai Pier at 9 am and bought the speed boat ticket (200.000 VND ~ 8USD/ person). It's better to book the ticket in advance if you plan to visit the island at the weekend.

In addition, plastic stuff cannot be brought into the island, which I really like and I hope other places will do the same.🙂

I missed watching this scene. When the sun went down, the more magic the colours became

A 15- minute speedboat ride brought us to the island and then we checked into our hotel. The landlord took us on the boat to the snorkelling spot. While floating in the middle of the ocean, we enjoyed the sun, the sea, and snorkelling. We were quite interested. It was a beautiful day sunny, clear, and blue weather. Before the day ended, we walked along the beach near the hotel and watched the sunset.

We rented a motorbike the next day so we could explore the small island before heading back to the mainland at 2 pm in the afternoon.

There are few hotels on the island and visitors may camp on the sand, but those looking for a decent night’s sleep should rent one of the few accommodations available.

We were treated to a short and fantastic getaway to one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The breathtaking Cham Islands are an absolute must-see for those who want to take a vacation when in Hoi An. With its pristine beaches, incredible diving opportunities, and rich culture, this island paradise is sure to wow anyone who visits and definitely a spectacular destination for a lovely day trip.

Thank you for visiting me at my blog . Wish you an awesome week ahead.♥️
