If you are a lover of the architecture of palaces and ancient capitals of kings in the past, you should definitely visit Hue once. Hue is famous not only for its attractive and romantic scenery from beautiful landscape to architecture but also its people and food for domestic and foreign tourists
Hue is a city in central Vietnam. This place is the ancient capital of the Nguyen Dynasty in the 18th to 20th centuries
Therefore, the architecture in Hue citadel is very ancient and monumental with its characteristic red and yellow colors. The first place I visited was Dai Noi with Ngo Mon gate. The gate is built with large columns painted in red to create a dignified look
Hue is featured with yellow and red everywhere. You can find them from schools, the capital and even the village of incense making. My next destination is Hue National School. This is a gifted school with many excellent students. The architecture here is very old with red painted buildings and lots of green trees. Hue National School, established in 1896, is a place which has trained many talented people for the country
In the afternoon, I visited Thuy Xuan incense village. This place is very colorful with a unique and creative way of making incense. Almost all pagodas and temples take incense here to worship. I wrote an article about Thuy Xuan incense village here
And finally, the destination that impressed me the most that day was Khai Dinh Tomb. This is a mausoleum built with very beautiful and interesting architecture. According to history, each king built his own mausoleum before he died. King Khai Dinh's mausoleum was built 18 years before his death. He was very aesthetic, so the mausoleum is almost made of stone and covered in mysterious and attractive black
In the tomb of Khai Dinh are elaborately carved walls showing the power of kings. In addition, it is also a place to collect ancient coins from 13 different dynasties of 13 kings. You can also admire the precious black-and-white photos of festivals taking place in Hue
The best time to visit Hue is from January to August. In the last months of the year, Hue often has storms and heavy rain. I had a rainy afternoon and got all my clothes wet. However, in the following days, fortunately the weather was better and I was able to experience everywhere here. Hue is amazing with impressive scenery and unique architecture. I will definitely come back to Hue soon
Thank you for reading my post. Wish you a day full of happiness!
