"Looking back on the days when you were so little that I can carry you around my arms and tickle you while playing peek a boo. How time flies really fast and I now have a daughter who keeps on asking so many questions that I don't even know how to answer. Now that you've been elected as a mayor of your class, mommy can't help but to feel a little emotional today. It feels really great to bond with you and I miss our random staycations." These are exactly the words running on my mind right now as I was editing these photos taken 2 years ago. I can't believe that I already have a seven years old daughter! Who dreams becoming a leader. I don't even expect that she'll be dreaming to run for mayor on her class and she was even elected. I am a one proud mom. And for that I'm planning to take her to another staycation next weekend since she already misses the beach and I want her to relax after attending her online classes with perfect attendance! For now, I wanted to document and blog our previous staycation here starting at Rumah Highlands Hotel!
We were absolutely enjoying the pool and the view of this hotel. The food is great as well. You can check them out at agoda or their website for the room rates and the facilities too.
They have a nice view on their pool and my daughter loves swimming too. I love that we have the pool by ourselves and it was nice that we're surrounded by nature, though the water is a little cold because it is located uphill.
For everyone's information, Rumah Highlands Hotel is located at Nivel Hills, Lahug, Cebu City. Its unique name Rumah, is a Balinese term for "home". If you wanted to experience wellness, nature relaxation and just around the City, Rumah Highlands is perfect for that.
They have free breakfast and what's even great is that the location of their restaurant is on the top floor where you can enjoy the view.
We totally love the food choices! They have different kind of cereals which my daughter loves. And since I rarely eat rice in the morning, I like their American breakfast food choices.
That's just us enjoying the view and the daughter asking me where our house is located.
