Hi, is my entry into the @pinmapple and @haveyoubeenhere "If I Had $ 1000" Contest as part of their Hive 2000 Contest to celebrate the achievement of 1000 travel summaries.
I Have found this contest really fascinating. I have seen some publications that the participants have submitted and I fell in love with each place, each photograph their stories from each trip, they really make me imagine that I travel while I am still there in front of my computer.
Today I want to share with you one of my dreams and the next one to fulfill. I believe that if we strongly visualize what we want and believe in our hearts with conviction, there is only a little left to make it tangible in our lives.
Traveling to Canaima has been one of my places on the bucket list. When we got married, my husband and I wanted to go on our honeymoon to this beautiful natural sanctuary, we dreamed of spending the night at the foot of Angel Falls and sunrise in that imposing landscape surrounded by tepuis.
Years passed and with everything that has emerged in my country, Venezuela, it is very difficult to do tourism, and it is becoming more and more expensive to live here. But even so we do not lose hope of living the experience of knowing Canaima Park, now there are three of us, my husband, my daughter and I, so it will be a family honeymoon.
This is my family, I love to laugh with them and I will enjoy our trip together...
The first thing I did to make my entry to the contest, I went to pinmapple.com, I looked for the place and I observed that the publication of the friend @evagavilan2 was anchored in my future destination, I wrote to her and she kindly Let me use the photographs of a trip to Canaima. Then I started to search the internet for the hotel to arrive at, I got Aramerulonge, a beautiful place in the middle of the jungle with all the comforts for my family, they offered me all the packages they had available, they also kindly gave me some photos that will motivate them.

Upon arriving at the Maiquetía airport, a plane awaits us where we will fly over the entire Canaima National Park. I can already feel the adrenaline rushing through my body, and I see my little daughter's glowing eyes telling me how excited and nervous she is like she's going to ride a roller coaster.
I love feeling the clouds so close and seeing the immensity from above, I have flown several times, but never in a small plane, it will surely be a unique experience.
Surely the three of us will have a somewhat peculiar emotion, wanting to get to the hotel and enjoy everything we observe from the sky, waterfalls, islands, vegetation, lagoons that are turquoise, another with reddish water.
Upon arriving at the camp we will find a beautiful waterfall-shaped entrance which we must cross to enter, what a rich welcome!
When passing through that curtain of water, it may be impossible not to be speechless with the facilities of the place, I imagine it much more beautiful than the photographs.
The most likely thing that catches our attention is the pool at the foot of the waterfall that is a replica of Angel Falls.
Then to move to our double suite, with mahogany wood accents, I imagine the smell of this room of wood, coconut and sea salt, smells that represent our tropics.
They have a viewpoint where we can enjoy a rich breakfast with this beautiful view of the Tepuyes, without a doubt this moment will be very romantic and special.
After breakfast, we will embark on one of these units to surely live the best adventures of our lives knowing the wonders of Canaima.
It is said that the Canaima lagoon is very beautiful, due to the reddish color of the water and its pink sands due to the amount of minerals, mostly quartz.
On the other side of the lagoon we can climb stones until we reach a waterfall, to have a different view of the lagoon.
Just imagining the enjoyment of such a moment between my husband and my daughter, I am excited to think of taking a photo that will last in time and even more a memory in their hearts.
Bathing at the foot of the Angel Falls, the most impressive waterfall in the world, feeling the dew and the energy that this magical place transmits will be an unforgettable experience
Returning to the camp after a fascinating excursion deserves a relaxing massage, while my husband and daughter enjoy the facilities.
Within the itinerary we will have a bike ride, we can enjoy with the family the exotic fauna and flora of the place with the smell of wet earth, green, and sun.
The third day we will sail in canoes through the Canaima Lagoon, a great surprise awaits us with this tour

After so many emotions, a farewell dinner at the camp bar, a luxurious place with VIP attention.
