Hola, mis apreciados lectores, compañeros de trabajo y amigos de Hive y de la comunidad #Haveyoubeenhere. Mi nombre es Alicia y esta es mi primera entrada a esta fantástica comunidad de viajes. Escuché de ustedes por mi amiga @carolinacardoza, a quien conozco desde hace tres años, en mis inicios en la blockchain. Me comentó que en esta comunidad se comparten fotos de viajes que hemos hecho y me animé porque siempre que salgo de Caracas, tengo mi celular activo para capturar esos momentos que no se pueden describir con palabras, pero que quedan documentados a través de la lente de la cámara.

Hello, my dear readers, co-workers and friends of Hive and the #Haveyoubeenhere community. My name is Alicia and this is my first entry into this fantastic travel community. I heard about you from my friend @carolinacardoza, who I've known for three years now, when I started in the blockchain. She told me that this community shares photos of trips we have taken and I was encouraged because every time I leave from Caracas, I have my cell phone active to capture those moments that cannot be described with words, but that are documented through the lens of the camera.

El fin de semana pasado, para Venezuela, fue semana de flexibilidad de la cuarentena. Eso quiere decir, que durante esos 7 días, tenemos la libertad de salir de nuestro municipio. Yo particularmente, que he respetado a cabalidad el distanciamiento social, ya me sentía un poco abrumada con el encierro. Y mi hijo de 10 años, también estaba igual. Así que le propuse a él y a su papá, salir del encierro por un día, respirar un poco de aire de mar. Y ellos, aceptaron de inmediato.

Pasamos buscando al abuelito de mi hijo y nos pusimos en marcha hacia el mar. No íbamos a bañarnos en la playa, porque aún hay que ser precavidos. Solo queríamos respirar aire limpio, fresco, la brisa del mar; aspirar ese delicioso aroma a salitre.

Cuando éramos pequeños, recuerdo que nuestros padres siempre nos llevaban a ese mismo lugar. Es un restaurant ubicado en la avenida Boulevard en Naiguatá, estado Vargas. Son tres restaurantes muy pintorescos que están a un lado de la carretera, con vista al mar. La gente puede aparcar sus carros cerca. Algunos van a comer, otros a pescar y otros, simplemente a respirar ese aire tan puro.

Para mi, agarrar carretera para ir a la playa, es una sensación sin comparación. Una alegría embriagadora que al respirarla, me llena los pulmones de sosiego y mucha paz.

Last weekend, for Venezuela, was a week of flexibility of the quarantine. That means, during those 7 days, we have the freedom to leave our municipality. I particularly, who have fully respected the social distancing, was already feeling a little overwhelmed with the confinement. And my 10-year-old son was the same way. So I proposed to him and his father, to get out of the confinement for a day, to breathe some sea air. And they accepted immediately.

We passed by looking for my son's grandfather and we set off for the sea. We were not going to swim in the beach, because we still have to be careful. We just wanted to breathe clean, fresh air, the sea breeze; to inhale that delicious smell of saltpeter.

When we were little, I remember that our parents always took us to that same place. It is a restaurant located on Boulevard Avenue in Naiguatá, Vargas State. There are three very picturesque restaurants that are on the side of the road, overlooking the sea. People can park their cars nearby. Some go to eat, others to fish, and still others simply to breathe the pure air.

For me, taking the road to go to the beach is a sensation without comparison. An intoxicating joy that, when I breathe it, fills my lungs with peace and quiet.

Finalmente, llegamos a nuestro destino. Aparcamos nuestro carro y mientras yo me senté en una de las mesas del restaurant, ellos fueron a darse una vuelta por los alrededores. ¡Yo necesitaba tanto esto! Ver el océano, disfrutar el sonido de las olas que van y vienen, respirar este delicioso aire, mientras las gaviotas sobrevuelan el océano, buscando algún pececito para comer.

Finally, we arrived at our destination. We parked our car and while I was sitting at one of the tables in the restaurant, they went for a walk around. I needed this so much! To see the ocean, to enjoy the sound of the waves coming and going, to breathe this delicious air, while the seagulls fly over the ocean, looking for some fish to eat.

Después de tanto tiempo en confinamiento, venir a uno de nuestros lugares favoritos, era como tocar el cielo con nuestras manos. Maravilloso, precioso, fantástico, genial, único y decididamente relajante.

After so much time in confinement, coming to one of our favorite places was like touching heaven with our hands. Wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, great, unique and decidedly relaxing.

Este fue un día grandioso, en donde la buena vibra penetró por cada uno de nuestros sentidos, recargando nuestras energías, para enfrentar de nuevo la realidad que desde hace meses nos ha golpeado con fuerza a nivel mundial.
