Porretta is a wonderful city situated in the region Emilia Romagna, near the appenines, the city its also called Porretta terme for the termal water, very healthy and useful for old people and young too. We first went there because it's quite close to my city and it's a cheap travel with a short distance and many place to park, especially a big park near the station, oh yes this city have a big station where you can go to Pistoia or to Bologna. We park there and we start our lovely walk long the bridge under the river, the weather was cold and the river was not so calm but it's really nice to see it.
In the walk close to the rivers we loved the colorful houses, some of them are in front of the rivers and looks in danger but they are not. There are also many houses around the city. It's a quite big city. After the bridge we have a walk in the main way, where we can appreciate many things dedicated to the soul of the city, the soul music! Music seems to be the hearth of that place and I love walk and see music traces. Than we continue our walk in the city center that it's really close to the Station, the center have many shops, a pub, a lot of bars and restaurants and cool fancy buildings. It's the rich part of the city, really lovely. I liked this place a lot, that's why we go there often when we want have a little and cheap trip. Visit Porretta you will surely like it!!
In the end we eat at a bar two schiacciate with salame meat, a very tasty meat, and others with cheese and vegetables, we loved it, the place was nice too, they sell also many sweets! Unfortunately I don't remrm8tge bar name, by the way was a lovely day.
