Unique, is the perfect word to describe this Coffee Shop and Roastery. This cute spot is located inside a gas station which is mostly identical with awful coffee, dirty places, and smells of gasoline. But this Coffee shop and Roastery called Rashid Craft Coffee and Roastery will alter the way you look at a gas station coffee. This gas station and the Coffee shop & Roastery is located on the inter-state and a one way road which makes this place quite strategic.

Rashid Craft Coffee and Roastery offers a different experience while drinking coffee. This place opens from 7 AM to 10 PM except Monday and like the name suggest, this place also sells variety of beans from Indonesia. The most unique feature of this roastery is the location which is supported by its interior that is dominated by wood and metal with industrial themes. There are two options of sitting, indoor and outdoor sitting. As you step inside the coffee shop, the gasoline smells will be gone and it will take you into a different space. And when you sit inside, the glass window pane gives you a blurry look to the road that never sleeps.

Inside the place, it feels comfortable as it is equipped with air-conditioning and soft lighting. The ambience is supportive if you want to work or study inside this coffee shop. It also features plenty of sockets and a fast wifi. When it comes to the coffee selection, they have classic and fusion choices which are well-brewed and high quality taste. Alongside simple espresso, they also have plenty of lattes options including Charcoal latte which seems to be one of the specialities in this place alongside a drink called Java Klepon Espresso.

Price wise, it is relatively cheaper in comparison to bigger cities while having similar qualities to hip cafes in metropolitan cities. It’s easy to spend only about 4$ for a two person drink in this place which is very cheap in comparison to Cafe and Roastery in metropolitan cities. The service was decent and makes me want to go back again.

Exterior

The exterior makes this place looks very classy despite located inside a dark gas station. You can see the comparison below how dark the gas station vs the Coffee shop and Roastery.

Menu

Some of the menu that I and my cousin tried. The charcoal coffee is great but my cousin told me the coffee milk was too sweet which makes him felt nauseous. I ordered cupcake which was priced 5.5k and it was decent. I didn't expect tempting cupcake with the price so my expectation was not ruined. If I am going to visit this place, I'll try other coffee variant and especially their signature coffee that I haven't found in other places called Klepon Coffee.
