After our visit to the Azul municipal cemetery , we ran to find a place to eat. It was Saturday at 2PM, we assumed that there must be several places open to eat but this was not the case. We took a couple of laps into the city center and there seemed to be no restaurant, which was very strange. Instead we ended up eating some fast food in the downtown square, in front of the cathedral 😅.
Luego de nuestro paso por el cementerio municipal de Azul, corrimos a buscar algún lugar para comer. Era sábado a las 2PM, suponíamos que debían haber varios lugares abiertos para comer pero esto no fue así. Dimos un par de vueltas al centro de la ciudad y parecía no haber ningún restaurante, lo cual fue muy extraño. En su lugar terminamos comiendo algo de comida rápida en la plaza del centro, frente a la catedral 😅.
La plaza del centro de la ciudad de Azul era muy parecida a las del centro de la ciudad de Buenos Aires (como si ambas no quedaran en la misma provincia). Mis tías son fanáticas de las fotos, a ellas les gusta demostrar que estuvieron en ese lugar, por lo que tengo fotos de ellas en todas partes 😅. Además, el día estaba hermoso por lo que el sol permitía tomar fotos hermosas.
The plaza in the center of the city of Azul was very similar to those in the center of the city of Buenos Aires (as if both were not in the same province). My aunts are fans of photos, they like to show that they were in that place, so I have photos of them everywhere 😅. In addition, the day was beautiful so the sun allowed to take beautiful photos.

What I like about churches is their architecture. I am not a religious person, but I love to admire the constructions and all the work that is behind each church or cathedral. They really are an icon of history and it is good that they keep them as such through the years.
Lo que me gusta de las iglesias es su arquitectura. No soy una persona religiosa, pero me encanta admirar las construcciones y todo el trabajo que hay detrás de cada iglesia o catedral. Realmente son un ícono de la historia y es bueno que los conserven como tal a través de los años.
This cathedral dates from 1906. It is really very old but both inside and outside it is preserved in the best way. Perhaps it has to do with that Azul is a somewhat small city and they like to keep their tourist spots well organized.
Esta catedral data del año 1906. Realmente es muy antigua pero tanto en su exterior como interior está conservada de la mejor manera. Quizás tiene que ver que Azul es una ciudad algo pequeña y les gusta mantener bien arreglados sus puntos turísticos.
The inside was really beautiful. These kinds of churches make you want to get married just to walk around in a beautiful dress. Ok, very romantic isn't it? The truth is that there was peace in there with soft music, no wedding at that time.
La parte de adentro era realmente hermosa. Este tipo de iglesias dan ganas de casarte solo para caminar por allí con un hermoso vestido. Ok, ¿muy romántico no? Lo cierto es que allí dentro reinaba la paz con música suave, ningún casamiento en ese momento.
The furniture also matches the architecture of the place: heavy chairs everywhere. I doubt that in this last time of pandemic they have all been complete. Perhaps in a wedding if they have been (I continue with the idea of the dream wedding).
Los muebles también hacen juego con la arquitectura del lugar: pesadas sillas por todas partes. Dudo que en este último tiempo de pandemia hayan estado todas completas. Quizás en un casamiento si lo han estado (yo sigo con la idea del casamiento soñado).

Afortunadamente, mi amiga y yo somos capaces de hacer estos viajes gracias a nuestra querida plataforma Hive. Es por eso que si bien disfrutamos, no nos olvidamos de crear contenido para nuestros blogs 😂❤️. Actualmente mi teléfono tiene cientos de fotos de este viaje. Fortunately, my friend and I are able to do these trips thanks to our beloved Hive platform. That's why while we enjoy ourselves, we don't forget to create content for our blogs 😂❤️. Currently my phone has hundreds of photos from this trip. I have yet to review and share them with you 😃.
Visiting the inside of the cathedral was an unexpected walk since, due to Covid issues, I thought it would not be open to the public. It made me happy that my aunts are happy about that in the religious sense since they took the opportunity to say some prayers ❤️.
Visitar la catedral por dentro fue un paseo inesperado ya que por cuestiones de Covid pensaba que no iba a estar abierta al público. Me puso feliz que mis tías esten contentas por eso en el sentido religioso ya que aprovecharon para hacer algunas oraciones ❤️.
Finally, we ended up staying in Azul town until after 3 PM. Then it was time to leave for our main destination: Sierra de la Ventana. By then we still had quite a stretch ahead of us, so it was good to stretch our legs a bit and recharge by eating something and getting to know a great place ❤️.
Finalmente, terminamos quedándonos en la ciudad de Azul hasta después de las 3 PM. Luego fue tiempo de partir hacia nuestro destino principal: Sierra de la Ventana. Para ese entonces todavía teníamos bastante tramo por delante, así que vino bien estirar un poco las piernas y recargar energías comiendo algo y conociendo un lugar genial ❤️.
