Another cool experience with the nature. I heard this place from a close friend. Actually, she's with me during my first visit here. We were circle of friends who went here and we spent our time mainly in the flowing hot spring water. My 2nd; 3rd and 4th visit was with my other close friends.
This is Mambukal Mountain Resort located in Murcia, Negros Occidental and it is a government-run resort.
We took a bus going to the resort from Bacolod City Bus Terminal. It took almost 2 hours of travel.
Do you know why I kept coming here?
I visited here four (4) times already because I love the flowing hot spring water. I enjoyed dipping in the sulfuric hot water. It really made my whole body relax. The hot spring was covered with the huge trees so it was relaxing to see and hear birds tweeting while you were enjoying dipping your whole body in the water.
Where's The Hot Spring Photo?
Well, I had never had a souvenir photo in the hot spring. Everytime I entered the spring vicinity, I immediately asked for a locker to safekeep my personal belongings that includes my phone. I don't bring my phone with me while in the water, same as my friends.
Let me show you some of the beautiful spots of Mambukal Mountain Resort.
Few meters away from the threshold of the this resort, this refreshing spot welcomed the guests; this spot was surrounded with the different trees with green foliage and the flowing water with the resort's seal behind it; it's cool, right?
The resort is huge and if you're not into hiking you can take motorcycle going to the spots you wish to visit.
Since my friends and I were into hiking so we enjoyed the moment. As we hiked going to the food court, we passed by in this beautiful spot.
Have you noticed the rocks and the flowing water? I'm not sure if you can clearly see it because the photo is fuzzy.
And how about the people? Have you noticed them enjoying the flowing cold water?
The resort has 7 waterfalls and if you've noticed that the resort is abundant of water, well it is because of the waterfalls.
As we continued hiking, we noticed the small nipa hut with beautiful view. Since all of us were greatly captivated so we decided to stop for a few minutes and enjoy the view.
Have you noticed the strong current of the water under the bridge?
After few minutes, we continued hiking and we saw the Boat Lagoon. If you are into kayaking well you can rent a kayak for php50/15 minutes.
This is the reason why I constantly wanted to spend my time with the nature. I always love the hush atmosphere, the serenity and the spectacular view.
We were starving so we headed to the resort's foodcourt. My friend told me that their halo-halo is yummy so I took the opportunity to taste it and well, it was definitely yummy.
Since I love barbecue so I ordered pork barbecue for my meal.
Our tummy was full as we headed to the hot spring for a bath. We hiked again and took the few steep stairs. Well, it was really a great experience.
The peaceful vibe always makes my heart contented. This is always my goal, to have a contented heart because I believe that a contented heart is always a happy heart.
