North Diagonal is a very popular area of the city of Buenos Aires with many tourists and stores, it is located in the neighborhood of San Nicolas and from there you have access to many other locations.
To get to this part of the city of Buenos Aires I recommend traveling by subway, the station to reach this place immediately is called Catedral Station, this being a head station of the C line.
Diagonal Norte es una zona muy popular de la ciudad de Buenos Aires de muchísimos turistas y comercios, está ubicado en el barrio de San Nicolás y desde allí tiene acceso a muchísimas otras localidades.
Para llegar a esta parte de la ciudad de Buenos Aires recomiendo viajar en el subterráneo, la estación para llegar de inmediato a este lugar se llama Estación Catedral, siendo ésta una estación cabecera de la línea C.
In this photo we can see the entrance of the station mentioned above and in the background are two famous buildings which are the headquarters of the Banco Nacional on the right and the Bencich building on the left side, which I will talk about in a future post as I find this building very interesting and impressive in terms of its architecture and history.
As I said in one of my previous posts Buenos Aires is considered the Europe of Latin America and this area with its intersections shows it very well.
En ésta foto podemos ver la entrada de la estación antes mencionada y en el fondo se encuentran dos edificios famosos que se tratan de la sede del banco nación a la derecha y el edificio bencich de lado izquierdo, del cuál hablaré en un próximo post ya que éste edificio me parece muy interesante e impresionante en cuanto a su arquitectura e historia.
Cómo dije en unos de mis post anteriores Buenos Aires es considerado la Europa de Latinoamérica y ésta zona con sus intersecciones lo demuestra muy bien.
The intersecting street or avenues are Florida Street and Roque Saenz Peña Avenue and in the present image shows the statue of this former president of the nation and in the background the Bencich buildings and the main building of the headquarters of the Chinese bank ICBC.
Florida Street is more of a shopping boulevard, stores, banks and service establishments where mostly exchange houses can be seen and this street together with the avenue mentioned above leads us to the famous Obelisk of Buenos Aires.
La calle o avenida que se entrecruzan son la calle florida y la avenida Roque Sáenz Peña y en la presente imagen muestra la estatua realizada de este ex presidente de la nación y en el fondo los edificios bencich y el edificio de la sede principal del banco chino ICBC.
La calle florida es más bien un boulevard de compras, comercios, bancos y establecimientos de servicios dónde mayormente suelen verse casa de cambio y ésta calle junto con la avenida antes mencionada nos lleva hacia el famoso Obelisco de Buenos Aires.
The trio of towers on the north diagonal is what we can see in this last image which represents the Bencich building on the left, the Banco Nacional headquarters in the middle and the ICBC bank headquarters building on the left. I used the wide angle camera to capture this picture with this perspective.
I highly recommend visiting this place for all its cultural and architectural attractions, stores and in general for any person or tourist who wants to visit the city of Buenos Aires.
El trío de torres de la diagonal norte es lo que podemos ver en esta última imagen la cual representa al edificio bencich a la izquierda, la sede del banco nación en el medio y el edificio de la sede del banco ICBC a la izquierda. Utilicé la cámara gran angular para poder capturar está fotografía con ésta perspectiva.
Recomiendo ampliamente visitar ésta localidad mencionada por todos sus atractivos culturales, arquitectónicos, comercios y en general para cualquier persona o turista que desee visitar la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
