Tour getting to know Campo de Carabobo [ENG/ESP]

Hello to all of you! For this publication I show photographs of this great historical monument for Venezuela, part of a tour that I did some time ago with some friends, and I always intended to make a publication of this tour. The monument Campo Carabobo, is located near the city of Tocuyito, Carabobo state - Venezuela.

This place is comprised of a series of large monuments in memory of the battle of Carabobo, which was a historical event that occurred in 1821, and meant what would become the independence of Venezuela. From certain sculptures of those who fought in the battle, to a structure of the triumphal arch of Carabobo, a representative symbol for the state of Carabobo, even included in the coat of arms of the state of Carabobo.

Para esta publicación muestro fotografías sobre este gran monumento histórico para Venezuela, parte de un recorrido que hice hace algún tiempo con unas amigas, y siempre tuve la intención de hacer una publicación de este recorrido. El monumento Campo Carabobo, se encuentra ubicado cercano a la ciudad de Tocuyito, estado Carabobo - Venezuela.

Este lugar esta comprendido por una serie de grandes monumentos en memoria a la batalla de Carabobo, que fue un hecho histórico ocurrido en 1821, y significó lo que sería ka independencia de Venezuela. Desde ciertas esculturas de quienes lucharon en la batalla, hasta una estructura del arco de triunfo de Carabobo, símbolo representativo para el estado Carabobo, incluso incluido en el escudo del estado Carabobo.

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Carabobo, the Campo de Carabobo monument was built in 1921, until its completion in 1936, when all the sculptures and monuments that make up this historic site were mostly finished, and since then it has become an architectural, artistic and historical heritage for Venezuela, and a reference to what happened in that battle.

From the moment you enter these installations, which cover a large extension of land, protected for being a place of great importance, you can perceive a different energy and more when you get to see the sculptures, you feel as if you were living that battle, where many gave their lives for the independence of Venezuela.

En conmemoración de los 100 años de la batalla de Carabobo, se construyó en 1921 el monumento del Campo de Carabobo, hasta finalizar en 1936, terminando en su mayoría todas las esculturas y monumentos que conforman este lugar histórico, y desde ese momento se ha convertido en un patrimonio arquitectónico, artístico e histórico para Venezuela, y de referencia a lo que ocurrió en esa batalla.

Desde el moemento que se entra a estas instalaciones, que abarca una gran extensión de terrenos, protegidos por ser un lugar de suma importancia, se puede percibir una energía diferente y más cuando se logra ver las esculturas, se siente como se viviera esa batalla, donde muchos dieron sus vidas por la independencia de Venezuela.

As we can see in the photographs, you can appreciate the variety of sculptures, which more than a simple sculpture is like a history book, where it practically narrates what happened in the battle of Carabobo, sculptures perfectly well detailed and perfected, so that you can see how representative and valuable this place is.

Apart from the history of this place, the artistic and architectural contribution of those who undertook the work to erect all the monuments, which will last in this area for a long time, as a sign of the historical value of the location, and the representative of the art in Venezuela, is also valued.

Como vemos en las fotografías, se puede apreciar la variedas de esculturas, que más que una simple escultura es como un libro historia, donde prácticamente narra lo que ocurrió en la batalla de Carabobo, esculturas perfectamente bien detalladas y perfeccionados, de manera que se vea lo representativo y de mucho valor de este lugar.

Donde aparte de la historia de este lugar, también se valore el aporte artístico y arquitectónico, de quienes emprendieron los trabajos, para levantar todos los monumentos, que perdurará en esta zona por mucho tiempo, como muestra del valor histórica de la ubicación, y lo representativo del arte en Venezuela.

For me this tour has an added value, for the simple fact of appreciating all the art, from the aspect between the architectural and the sculptural, as well as the learning of the history of our country, to know these places, where important battles took place for the independence of my country, in those times, where Venezuela was under the Spanish monarchy.

That is the intention of this publication, to show photographs of this place, as well as to narrate in a certain way what happened and where it is located, so that those who are interested in the future will have the opportunity to visit this great monument.

Para mí este recorrido, tiene un valor agregado, por el simple hecho de apreciar todo el arte, desde el aspecto entre lo arquitectónico y lo escultural, como también el aprendizaje de la historia de nuestro país, de conocer estos lugares, donde se efectuó batallas importantes para la independencia de mi país, en aquellos tiempos, donde Venezuela estaba bajo la monarquía española.

Esa es la intención por medio de esta publicación, mostrar fotografías de este lugar, como aparte narrar de cierta manera lo que ocurrió y en donde se encuentra ubicado, para quienes se interesen en un futuro tengan la oportunidad de visitar éste gran monumento.
