Appreciate the History, Take Care of the Museum |

The museum has not yet become a tourist destination in North Aceh, Indonesia. At least it can be seen how the handling of the Malikussaleh Museum in Desa Beuringen, Kecamatan Samudra, Kabupaten Aceh Utara. The museum, which was built with more than Rp. 7 billion in funds, has not yet opened even though it was completed in 2016.

Four years have passed and the Malikussaleh Museum is still a silent building. A waste of development. In fact, there are also visitors to the Museum even though it is not yet opened. Many students who visit the location even if they only see the building, have not been able to get inside.

It is not yet known why the Malikussaleh Museum has not been functioning for more than four years. This neglect makes the building unkempt.

In fact, visiting Beuringen Village is a tour package because there are at least three locations that can be visited. Apart from the Malikussaleh Museum, you can also visit Makan Sultan Malikussaleh, the founder of the Samudra Pasai Kingdom who is also known as a propagator of Islam in Southeast Asia.

The location of the Museum with the Malikussaleh Tomb can be reached in less than five minutes by motorbike or car. Somewhat far to the beach, tourists can also visit the Tomb of Sultanah Nahrisyah, who is a sultanah descended from Sultan Malikussaleh. The Sultanah Nahrisyah Tomb Complex is also visited by many domestic and foreign tourists.

How do you appreciate the historical value of the past, can be seen from the way you take care of the museum. It's the simplest thing that can be seen immediately. So don't ignore the museum.[]
