Recientemente paseé por la laguna de la restinga, en una de mis publicaciones anteriores les comentaba acerca de uno de los parques nacionales que tenemos en la isla de margarita, sin embargo, desde el paseo en bote que hice con mi familia pudimos ver directamente y apreciar el Monumento Natural a las Tetas de María Guevara, siendo utilizada como referencia entre los locales.
El monumento Natural, las tetas de María Guevara, están conformados por dos cerros o colinas gemelas justos uno al lado del otro, cuenta con hectáreas conformados por bosques secos, paisajes áridos prácticamente desérticos. Estos cerros miden aproximadamente 135 metros de altura.
Su nombre hace referencia, dicen antiguos pobladores, a una bella mujer mestiza de carácter muy fuerte, popular entre los pescadores de la zona; oriunda de Cumana, Edo Sucre, quien destaco con su participación en el combate independentista venezolano y su tumba se encuentra debajo del Monumento natural.
Los cerros de este monumento no es de tan fácil acceso, por lo tanto, no es tan visitado y algunas personas prefieren verlo desde este punto, ya que desde aquí se tiene una vista perfecta y panorámica de los cerros. Su verde es perfecto, y particularmente le encuentro muy interesante, ya que compartimos apellido.
Yo también llevo el apellido Guevara, realmente no sé si tenga alguna conexión con la hermosa mujer, sin embargo, me siento orgullosa de portar su apellido... así no tengamos ninguna conexión.

I recently walked through the Restinga lagoon, in one of my previous posts I told you about one of the national parks that we have on Margarita Island, however, from the boat ride that I did with my family we were able to directly see and appreciate the Natural Monument to the Tits of María Guevara, being used as a reference among the locals.
The Natural monument, María Guevara's tits, are made up of two hills or twin hills right next to each other, it has hectares made up of dry forests, practically desert-like arid landscapes. These hills measure approximately 135 meters high.
her name refers, say ancient settlers, to a beautiful mestizo woman with a very strong character, popular among fishermen in the area; originally from Cumana, Edo Sucre, who stood out with her participation in the Venezuelan independence fight and her tomb is located under the natural monument.
The hills of this monument are not so easy to access, therefore, it is not so visited and some people prefer to see it from this point, since from here you have a perfect and panoramic view of the hills. Its green is perfect, and I particularly find it very interesting, since we share a last name.
I also have the last name Guevara, I really don't know if I have any connection with the beautiful woman, however, I feel proud to carry her last name... even if we don't have any connection.
