This top picture is of a Sunfish.
I was running across the South Bay and saw a huge fin. It was this Sunfish, they live in deep water, only to come in the river when they are sick and near death. My guess is, it was 4 feet tall and 6 feet long.
This picture is of the bottom side of a hairy worm that I caught while fishing with sandfleas, this is what the top side of it looks like.
This is the top side of it.
I have been commercial fishing my own boat for the last 35 plus years and have seen many odd things. Some I have pictures of. Some I wish I had a camera with me but did not, either way, I know that it's a wild world that we live in with many wild creatures.
One of the most heartbreaking ones is of this green turtle, it is covered in tumors.
Another thing that breaks my heart in this crazy world is Manatees so hungry that they suck the mud off of the side of my boat for something to eat.
Someone cut this stingray's tail off, please do not do this.
This wild-looking thing is called a lizardfish.
They call this fish a Lookdown
