Trippy Thursday - Lava Rock Hopper

Here is a strange lava rock hopping creature for this #trippythursday by @blacklux

These guys are native to the volcanoes of the planet Venus.

They were first seen in the notepad of a crashed alien spaceship. Scientists traced some of the particles of the spaceship back to the planet Venus.

Now a probe has been able to beam back the first image of one of these lava rock hoppers.

Volcanoes are constantly exploding on Venus so any life form that expects to survive here must become adapted to the harsh environment.

The lava rock hoppers live near the base of the volcanoes where things are a tiny bit cooler. They draw geothermal energy from the rocks as their food source.

They have a gravitational aura that sucks in a specific type of radiation to power their metal based bodies.

An intricate webbing of wire-like veins stores and places the energy in all their joints so they can hop from rock to rock.

They also have an internal gyroscope that keeps them landing on their feet at all times.

To be able to hop they charge up a ball of plasma energy then pop it. As it pops the energy covers their metallic bodies and all their leaping programming kicks into place.

They have laser eyesight as well to be able to navigate the rocky structures and caverns of the volcanoes. Fortunately these guys have no natural predators and can hop freely without fear absorbing volcanic energy. Perhaps one day a few of these guys could be brought back to earth to harvest the nuclear radiation left over from melted down reactors.

Happy #trippythursday :-)
