"Mess of Limbs"

[Sharpie and paint pen on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] Somewhere amidst the flailing limbs, Chester suspected that some form of serpent had slithered into the picture...

"Grasp..." by RFY (HF) & FEH

grasp (peg).jpg

[Felt pen on colored cardstock with digital embellishments and color.] Here is another in a long line of collaborations between me (Richard F. Yates) and my granddaughter (Felicity Echo Hanson). She is a MASTER of CHAOS, and creates wild, energetic lines. (Of course she's only two, so she doesn't REALIZE how great her art is, yet...) And then I come in and carve out a bit of definition in the chaos. My part is making the work less exciting and energetic, but also giving it more of a figurative, "recognizable" face (or "hand" in this case). I think we work well together! (And, yes, I'm putting money from sales away for her college education!!!) ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool) & Felicity Echo Hanson (Toddler Terror)

"Boyd Brain"

boyd brain (peg).jpg

[Felt pen, paint pen, and Sharpie on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and minor color correction...] Edgar had a lot to think about...so much that his bird-brain got a bit over-taxed and had to jump out of his skull and have a bit of a walk-about... Edgar makes a lot of mistakes. (Maybe he needed to hire a second bird for tougher contemplations... Perhaps...)

"Soliloquy"

soliloquy (peg).jpg

[Liner pen on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.]

Mosquitar was one of the most famous Theatre Monsters in the entire world. His rendition of the soliloquy scene from "Japeth's Construction Disaster" brought tears to the eyes of even the most hardened critics. Even Hogsretch the Unflaggable (vicious reviewer for the Daily Tooth & Claw) was said to have blubbered until all nine of his eyes were beat red by the end of the first act! A true master of his craft...

"Bastard Ghost" by RFY (HF) & FEH

bastard ghost (peg).jpg

[Felt pen, liner pen, and crayon on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] This sinister son-of-a-bat is one nasty customer. He sees the world in 4-D, and works to sow confusion and chaos throughout the human world! (He's one of my heroes, naturally...) ---Richard F. Yates (Holy Fool) & Felicity Echo Hanson (Toddler of Terror)

Ahoy! Thanks for stopping by! We'll try to get some exciting new content for tomorrow, too! Until then, have a glass on chocolate milk (NOT from Nestle, though, cuz those fuckers SUCK!), and watch a nice horror show...preferably something with Vincent Price or Peter Cushing in it!
