“If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite.”
Aldous Huxley
And so we got the idea to make our door unusual.
We made the frame of this texture from wire and paper, painted with oil paints.
Door for me by the one side, something not noticeable and familiar, something that stands in my way, or separates me from something important. But if you look from the other side, doors are an image of a transition, the border of a separate space, into which you are admitted or not.
The antiquity and sacredness of door is difficult to overestimate, but often in ordinary life, people pay so little attention to this portal in their home or other places.
And so I thought how great it would be if our with Vika guests were first met by the magic smile of the door, and upon opening it, the guests fell into our hugs and greetings!
And how cool it would be if each family made their own front door, which emphasized their individuality and simply showed that a human lives here!
