Naruto is a series that I have consumed for a long time, I have been hooked with all the chapters I have seen and I have found it fascinating in many things, and I still remember that time when everyone praised Itachi with how little he had appeared, I think it was more for the design he has, but the point is that he is my favorite character of the series along with Rock Lee and for very good reasons, even though many consider him an overrated character.
First and for starters, Itachi was always a top character in Naruto's rankings, he is one of the most known characters just after he appeared on screen. Although in the beginning he was so mysterious, he was always a character with eyes on him, maybe since he showed his abilities and all the past he had behind him, and this is something that happened a little with Minato, who with little achieved a lot among the Naruto community.
Since childhood he was considered a genius, to the point that at 7 years old if I'm not mistaken it was said that he had the mentality of a hokage, which I see quite exaggerated and unrealistic for the world of Naruto, although he passed it, but the point is that since childhood he was already someone very skilled and capable in his missions as a ninja, basically the pride of his clan. The Uchiha Clan is one that has had certain problems with Konoha because of oppression and all these issues, so they wanted to declare war on the entire village, and as Itachi was always someone very indebted to the village he had to decide between supporting his clan and destroy his home, or assassinate his clan and protect his brother, by orders of the high command of the village, this was a difficult choice for the character, and a turning point of course, because once he chose a decision he would no longer be the same.
Itachi decided to go for the second option, so he had to cold-bloodedly murder his family, and all these people who were once part of his life, all in the eyes of his younger brother. The deal was that in exchange for sacrificing the clan, Sasuke had to be sheltered in the village and be protected by the village, Itachi here made the decision more in line with his personality, and one that would take him away from all his ties, including his brother. The character was a victim of the world around him, and this was something that impacted a lot in the Naruto community, because it was thought that Itachi was an evil character just because and all these things, but it turned out to be quite the opposite, changing the perspective of the very world of this series.
When presented with those two choices, the character didn't know what to do, he was confused because he would lose something anyway regardless of what he chose , here it's not about something being good or bad, the world is not black and white, it's not that simple, and the fact that Itachi in the end regretted doing things himself only reinforces it even more. Itachi took it all on himself, and it took a toll on him, because he could have done things better if it had been otherwise.
Out of all Naruto is practically my favorite character, and it's mostly because of the history and mystery that surrounded him since he appeared. It's true that he has some exaggerated abilities and a bit out of the series itself, but it's something that happened to him because of the great character he ended up being. It's a pity that he hasn't had so many appearances throughout Naruto, and that we only got to know his story after he died, but the truth is that I wouldn't imagine him any other way, a great character without a doubt.

Naruto es una serie que desde hace un buen tiempo he consumido, me he enganchado con todos los capítulos que he visto y me ha parecido fascinante en muchas cosas, y todavía recuerdo esa época donde ya todos elogiaban a Itachi con lo poco que había aparecido, yo creo que fue más por el diseño que tiene, pero el punto es que es mi personaje favorito de la serie junto con Rock Lee y por muy buenas razones, a pesar de que muchos lo consideren un personaje sobrevalorado.
En primer lugar y ya para comenzar, Itachi siempre fue un personaje top en los rankings de Naruto, es de los más conocidos tan solo después de haber aparecido en pantalla. Aunque en un principio fue tan misterioso, siempre era un personaje con las miradas puestas sobre él, puede ser desde que mostró sus habilidades y todo el pasado que tenía detrás, y esto es algo que sucedió un poco con Minato, que con poco logró mucho entre la comunidad de Naruto.
Desde pequeño fue considerado un genio, al punto de que a los 7 años si no me equivoco se decía que tenía mentalidad de un hokage, cosa que veo bastante exagerada e irrealista para el mundo de Naruto, aunque se lo paso, pero el tema es que desde niño ya era alguien muy hábil y capaz en sus misiones como ninja, basicamente el orgullo de su clan. El Clan Uchiha es uno que ha tenido ciertos problemas con Konoha por la opresión y todos estos temas, por lo que querían declararle la guerra a la aldea entera, y como Itachi siempre fue alguien muy deboto a la aldea tenía que decidir entre apoyar a su clan y destruir su hogar, o asesinar a su clan y proteger a su hermano, por órdenes de los altos mandos de la aldea, esto era una elección difícil para el personaje, y un punto de inflexión por supuesto, porque una vez que escogiera una decisión ya dejaría de ser el mismo.
Itachi decidió ir por la segunda opción, por lo que tuvo que asesinar a sangre fría a su familia, y a todas estas personas que alguna vez formaron parte de su vida, todo a ojos de su hermano menor. El trato era que a cambio de sacrificar el clan, Sasuke tenía que estar resguardado en la aldea y ser protegido por la misma, Itachi aquí tomó la decisión más acorde a su personalidad, y una que lo alejaría de todos sus vínculos, incluido su hermano. El personaje fue víctima del mundo que le rodea, y esto fue algo que impactó mucho en la comunidad de Naruto, porque se pensaba que Itachi era un personaje malvado porque sí y todas estas cosas, pero resultó ser todo lo contrario, cambiando la perspectiva del mismo mundo de esta serie.
Cuando se le presentaron esas dos elecciones, el personaje no sabía que hacer, estaba confundido porque de todas formas perdería algo independientemente de lo que escogiera , aquí no se trata de que algo es bueno o malo, el mundo no es blanco o negro, no es tan simple, y el hecho de que Itachi al final se arrepintiera de haber hecho las cosas él solo lo refuerza todavía más. Itachi cargó con todo el mismo, y eso le pasó factura, porque pudo haber hecho las cosas mejor si hubiera sido de otra manera.
De todo Naruto es practicamente mi personaje favorito, y es más que nada por la historia y el misterio que lo rodeaban desde que apareció. Si es cierto que tiene habilidades medio exageradas y un poco fuera de la misma serie, pero es algo que le paso por el gran personaje que terminó siendo. Es una lástima que no haya tenido tantas apariciones en todo Naruto, y que su historia la hayamos conocido después de que muriera, pero la verdad es que practicamente no me lo imaginaría de otra forma, un gran personaje sin duda.
