[ENG-ESP] A great but very strange character // MIGI FANART - (FROM PARASITE - 寄生獣 セイの格率 )

When I first watched Parasite I didn't know anything about the story, that's why I was very surprised when Migi made his appearance in the first chapter. Now I can say that this is one of the anime characters that I like the most, although it is one of the weirdest for sure.

And why? First of all, "he" or "it" is basically shapeless, but since he is a parasite lodged in the hand of Shinichi (the main character) we usually see Migi as a talking hand. The name Migi is the one that Shinichi gave it once he realized that his hand was infected with a parasite with intelligence and personality. Since it was lodged in his right hand, he gave it the name of Migi (右 - ミギ) , which means right in Japanese. It´s simple but kind of fun, right? Lol.

Cuando vi Parasite por primera vez no sabía nada sobre la historia, por eso me sorprendió mucho cuando Migi hizo su aparición en el primer capítulo. Ahora puedo decir que este es uno de los personajes de anime que más me gustan, aunque seguro que es uno de los más raros.

¿Y por qué? En primer lugar, "él" o "eso" básicamente no tiene forma, pero como es un parásito alojado en la mano de Shinichi (el personaje principal), generalmente vemos a Migi como una mano que habla. El nombre Migi es el que le da Shinichi una vez que se da cuenta de que su mano estaba infectada con un parásito con inteligencia y personalidad. Como estaba alojado en su mano derecha, le dio el nombre de Migi (右 - ミ ギ), que significa derecha en japonés. Es simple pero divertido, ¿verdad? Jajaja.

Migi and all of their kind are extraterrestrial parasites. Although we do not know where they come from, we know that they come to earth to exterminate the human race,by staying in the brain and impersonating their identities. Since Migi is destined as Shinichi's hand, his consciousness and purposes are also very different from the rest of the parasites. This is why Migi becomes quite enigmatic and existential, and ends up being even more intelligent than humans. Or maybe I just think that Migi is very cool and smart hehe.

Migi y todos los de su especie son parásitos extraterrestres. Aunque no sabemos de dónde vienen, sabemos que vienen a la tierra para exterminar a la raza humana, alojándose en el cerebro y personificando sus identidades. Dado que Migi está destinado a ser la mano de Shinichi, su conciencia y propósitos también son muy diferentes del resto de los parásitos. Por eso Migi se vuelve bastante enigmático y existencial, y acaba siendo incluso más inteligente que los humanos. O tal vez solo pienso que Migi es muy genial y astuto jeje.

I won't say much more about this series, but I can recommend this anime a lot. In general it's very entertaining and although it is not exhaustive it's quite philosophical. If you haven't seen it yet, don't wait any longer.

No diré mucho más sobre él, pero puedo recomendar mucho este anime. En general es muy entretenido y aunque no es exhaustivo es un poco filosófico. Si aún no lo has visto, no esperes más.
