My chess career

ok! let's start... as I told you in the #introduceyourself I started playing chess at 6 years old, I remember everything very well, my first achievements were at school, when I was 7, 8, 9 and 10 years old, with my school team we went to other schools to play small state, municipal and national tournaments, and thank God we were doing very well.

We were state champions about 6 times, municipal, national and all that about 6 times as well, we were very talented kids!
after that, in high school, our teammates were unstoppable! in the tournaments we destroyed anyone who wanted to play (joke) ... we won many school tournaments, state, national, youth, municipal. something like we did in school, but already older, hahaha 13-14-15 years old more or less hahaha.

(Here we are.) in the year 2018).

then I started to play official tournaments valid for ELO FIDE, and I also did very well going to my first tournament and getting my first fide score of 1858 at 14 years old, (yes, it should be noted as I said I abandoned chess for a while for bad decisions and immaturity which I regret a lot!)

Then I went to my first national tournament, where the best children of each category faced each other, from U-8 to U-18, that tournament was celebrated in Merida, Venezuela...

In that tournament thank God I gave my first good result and I was NATIONAL UNDER CHAMPION in the U-14 category :)

then there were several tournaments in which I was doing relatively well, in some I did bad, in others regular but as you know, you never always win!

then came the Central American XVI FESTIVAL CAC DE LA JUVENTUD MERIDA 2018, there I was number 7 by the tiebreaker :(, but I was tied for third place, I was really unlucky with the tiebreaker of that tournament ....

after that came the Panamerican that tournament if I was bad, I think I was number 10 something like that, and I do not get the tournament by chess results to show them....

Champion team of I Tournament of Ascenso sub 1900. Congratulations guys you did great undefeated for 6 rounds !

After that came the qualifier for the national championship under-20 of Venezuela, made here in my state of Aragua which I was champion and I won the place to go.

then in the U-20 I didn't do very well, I don't even remember where I was, but I enjoyed it a lot and you learn from your mistakes!

then came the national championship of falcon, in the U-16 category I was also bad, I don't remember I think it was number 15.

came the school championship under 16 in which I was national sub champion again :)

and after that there are many more tournaments in which I went and I was good, in others I was bad, in others I was regular but they are not relevant :)

maybe I don't remember some other important tournament but I think I don't miss many hehehehej, people remember that I live in venezuela and unfortunately after those good tournaments came the lows! the crisis started to worsen even more, the tickets to travel from one state to another were very expensive! food, hotels, everything! it was hell to travel here in venezuela sincerely... everything got much worse and many of the players stopped attending the tournaments for lack of money :(, until the pandemic came and that ruined things even more...

anyway guys, the moral is to follow your dreams, fulfill them, never give up something you like, if you feel you are good at something, don't give it up! NO! try to be the best at everything you set your mind to and enjoy the process!

with that I say goodbye guys I hope you liked my post and that you have known a little more about my chess career!

I hope you vote the post in the best way, that will motivate me to create more stories and tell you a little more about me!
