"Mystery of Halloween"

When I was a child, we did not have the custom of enjoying Halloween at home. Even now, we don't do anything special at home. We don't dress up in costumes or decorate pumpkins, and it's only recently that I learned about the history of Halloween.
In this picture, I just got a cloth with a spider's web pattern, so I pasted it and some dark-colored cloth on some parts of the picture, hoping to learn more about the mystery of Halloween that can be seen through my daily life.
Actually, I broke my glasses yesterday, and furthermore, I've had a bad backache since this morning. Of course, I can't go to the optician either. I even took a bath in the bathtub a while ago, which helped a little, so I'm hoping to heal my back soon.

「ハロウィンの謎」
ミクストメディア、31.8x41cm、2021
私が子どもの頃は家ではハロウィンを楽しむ習慣がありませんでした。今でも特に家では何もしません。仮装したりかぼちゃを飾ったり、またハロウィンの歴史を知ったのはごく最近のことです。
この絵では、ちょうど蜘蛛の巣の柄の布が手に入ったのでそれを貼り付けたり、暗い色の布を一部に貼ってみたりして、日常から透けて見えるハロウィンの謎をもっと知りたい、という思いを込めて描いた絵です。
実は昨日眼鏡を壊してしまい、さらに今朝から腰痛がひどく、家に湿布があるかと思ったら切らしているし、病院はお休みです。もちろん眼鏡屋にも行けません。さっき湯船まで使って入浴したら少しマシになったので早く腰を治したいです。
