Painting Album Covers on Old CDs | Billie Eilish

I had this idea for a long time, but I don't know why I hadn't done it. I had thought of doing this idea, not on old CDs, but on some wall in my room. Since I had said that when I painted my room, which I did, I was going to paint all my favorite albums on some wall. But I had all these old CDs, that I didn't want to throw away and that's when it came to my mind to paint the album covers on these CDs.

Tenia esta idea desde hace muchísimo tiempo, pero no se por que no la había hecho. Había pensado hacer esta idea, no en CDs viejos, sino en alguna pared de mi cuarto. Ya que había dicho que cuando pintara mi cuarto, que lo hice, iba a pintar todos mis álbumes favoritos en alguna pared. Pero tenia todos estos CDs viejos, que no quería botar y fue cuando se me vino a la mente pintar las portadas de los álbumes en estos CDs.

Now that Billie has a new album out and I must admit it's good, to tell you the truth. I've been listening to her debut album, which I listened to for a while when she first released it, and listening to it again, it made me want to paint it on an old record.

Ahora que Billie saco un nuevo álbum y debo admitir que esta bueno, a decir verdad. Estuve escuchando su álbum debut, el cual escuche un tiempo cuando recién lo saco y al estar escuchándolo nuevamente, me dieron ganas de pintarlo en un disco viejo.

I have to remember that this series, which consists of painting album covers on old records, is not a series to make or work with realistic paintings, it is just to rescue those old records and give them a second life.

Tengo que recordar que esta serie, la cual consiste en pintar portadas de álbumes en discos viejos, no es una serie para hacer o trabajar con pinturas realistas, solo es rescatar esos discos viejos y darles una segunda vida.

Although it is not my favorite Billie album, I have to admit that it is a very good album and has many songs with lyrics that I love. Not to mention the great instrumental work that went into this album.

Aunque no es mi álbum favorito de Billie, tengo que admitir que es un muy buen álbum y tiene muchas canciones con letras que me encantan. Sin dejar de mencionar el buen instrumental que se trabajo en este álbum.
