Muy en lo profundo del bosque, unos leñadores cortaban madera, cuando de repente aparecieron unas criaturas aparentemente encantadores, de apariencia muy hermosa, los leñadores quedaron inmutados con su presencia, hasta que se transformaron en las más terrorífica de las criaturas jamás conocidas, con una furia tan destructiva que destruyeron las hachas de los leñadores y todas sus herramientas con tan solo un soplido, luego se escuchó una espeluznante voz diciendo, jamás tales un árbol, no contamine un río, no destruya el bosque o sentirás la furia de los Kodamas, somos los habitantes del bosque, nuestro trabajo es cuidar del bosque.

Dice la leyenda que los Kodamas son demonios que habitan en los bosques, escogen un árbol para vivir se dice que incluso ellos son parte del mismo árbol

Legend has it that the Kodamas are demons that dwell in the forest, they choose a tree to live in, it is said that they are even part of the tree itself.
