Cats, CatMoms and Vet Clinics

Its #Caturday Everyday!

12am and Boogie is still filled with energy.
On top of the table, then down to the floor, and jump again to our leather chair, and back up on the table to reach his window seat, and then down to the floor as if he's trying to chase something but nothing really.

The weirdest thing he did this week was that he tipped water out of his bowl. First he was trying to dip his paws and then take a drink. Then he started to tip it.

I was so furious as the water fell and scattered on the floor.

These are times I wish I didn't adopt a cat. My husband was angry too as he does most of the cleaning.

But we cant stay angry for more than 5 minutes.
Boogie is like our child. And like a child, he is sometimes sweet, naughty, wants to be left alone, or starts complaining and whinning when one of us goes out of the house.

One thing I'll never be able to understand is how he loves to cuddle. Usually people, but a cat? He is so sweet.

Youtube bloggers have mentioned multiple times, cats have peculiar behaviours and as a cat mom, my curiosity also never ends.

I've also noticed how amazingly clever they are. Very snobbish but very clever indeed.

Last week, he got neutered and it was truly a difficult time for me and him.
After his surgery, he couldn't use his normal litter box and cats are used to digging before urinating or pooping.
We literally had to keep an eye on him and clean up after him.

We also felt sorry for him as he never got used to his cone. He kept bumping into everything as he couldn't measure distance between anything or anywhere he wanted to go to.

Finally after 10 days we took out his cone and he was moving and acting so energetically. We too felt relieved.

For all you cat moms out there, make time for your cats during and after their surgery. They will need all the help they can get to recover fast and without any further injury to themselves.

They aren't allowed to jump or exert extra effort after surgery.

That's it from us for now.
Stay healthy everyone and hope you have a great time surfing and reading and making more friends and connections here on Hive.Blog
