Commonly known as "Easter orchid" in other countries, in our it's known as "Flor de Mayo (May Flower)", due to the fact that usually bloom when the May month is approaching and the first showers of the season begin to fall.
Comúnmente conocida como "Orquídea de Pascua" en otros países, en el nuestro se la conoce como "Flor de Mayo", debido a que suelen florecer cuando se acerca ese mes y comienzan a caer las primeras lluvias de la temporada.

When their petals are wet from recent rain, then they close slightly and seem to be a bit "sleepy"... Then they look like beautiful poems sprinkled with drops and lights... I love that moment to take pictures of them.
Cuando sus pétalos están mojados por la lluvia reciente, entonces se cierran levemente y parecen estar un poco "adormiladas"... Entonces lucen como hermosos poemas salpicados por gotas y luces... Ese momento me encanta para hacerles fotos.
