It's a beautiful afternoon, not so hot and sunny, just cool and lovely for a walk. Hubs declined a meeting and decided to walk with me. So once again hand in hand we set out this Wednesday eve on our little journey!!
I have a lot to show and tell you today,
I hope it makes you smile as you walk my way,
Tarry not, let's move on,
Through the long winded path,
Where beauty wisdom and peace reign!!
There is beauty waiting to be explored
Eyes that see every color and hue,
Feel the music of their thumping hearts renewed,
And shallow breaths as they take in the splendor,
Of all things created,
For us, just for us!
Tread softly on her lap, walk gently I pray,
Feel the springy grass every step of the way,
Dull not your senses with thongs of leather,
Feel her heart as we walk together,
Allow your senses to come alive,
Even if you are only on Hive!
Who can be as selfless as nature,
Crowned in majesty,
Happy at your feet,
A queen in stature
Your servant she is content to be,
Just to heal you hardened heart!
Let your feet experience her love,
Allow your heart to be drunk in her embrace,
Let your eyes wander,
Be overpowered by the elegance,
Forget for a moment who you are,
Become one with the one from whom you've been nourished!
Sing like a lark,
Dance like a peacock,
Let your hair down, be the child within,
Who cares not, who looks or mocks,
But smiles back in innocence and love,
Where beauty truly begins.
Let the luster back into your eyes,
Dulled by the long screens times,
Let the verdant Earth,
The allure of the blooms,
The moisture of the dew,
Soften your stony heart,
And bring back the true you!
Be not blinded by the beauty of the world
Painted in reds, dusted in gold,
Shimmering in metallic and everything fake that is sold,
When you wake up in the morning up you'll have a nightmare,
After the make up cleared up by the tossing of the night,
The face now bare, is a plain scare!
There is no deceit in nature,
She is just herself as made by the creator,
Lush with beauty and nothing to hide,
Her beauty shines even when washed by the rain,
Stunning enough to wash away worries and pain!
To the weary of heart joy restored,
To every child knowledge she endows,
The cynic can never see anything,
His heart filled with answers preconceived,
The is no joy to bring!
Here is a little story to make you smile today,
After a long sermon about paradise the pastor said, "Everyone who wants to go to heaven please stand up, we shall take a walk in the beautiful garden outside as we practice our walk in paradise." Everyone else except Tommy stood up, the pastor was concerned. He asked little Tommy all of four, "Don't you want to go to heaven Tommy?" Tommy looked the pastor in the eye as he said, "Not with these folks pastor, I'll practice later."
