Hello friends from the underwater world!🌊
Aquatic Sentinels Community was born from the perspective of acting in favor of our nature, of our planet, but above all of our seas and areas of fresh water such as rivers, lakes, lagoons and others.
As we all know, today our seas and oceans are suffering negative impacts caused by different factors, one of them is: misinformation!
Pollution, excessive fishing, abuse of natural resources and other factors are endangering our species and their ecosystems⚠️🌊

Here the question arises, how can we help our seas and oceans? the first step is: share and read correct and verified information about aquatic species!🐟🐢
A little bit about me:
Hi! My name is Juan😁
📍Tulúm, México
You can find my blog here👈
I have always thought that in life there are no coincidences, rather everything happens with a purpose. I had two stages in Hive, the first was the "not so good" (when we were still in Steemit), because I got very excited to write articles and publish photos about the marine world (at this stage I was already a marine biologist), there was no answer. But as I said before, nothing happens by chance, in my second stage I began to receive some votes in my publications and I did not give up because I realized that in reality we all started this way, and little by little I received more votes.

At this stage, my friend and PhD of Science @adalger appeared😁, the leader of the Amazing Nature community, I did not hesitate to join and publish in this community, where I felt accepted and quickly my posts were supported. All this happened while I finished studying my Master in Marine Sciences, later I was selected as moderator and curator! I started writing the #NatureNews every week, they were very well accepted by the community!

The future looks promising🙌
Now I am a PhD student of Marine Sciences, I am conducting a behavioral study with dolphins, I was selected as a spokesperson for one of the most important marine mammal associations in Mexico and now...
I am the leader of the Aquatic Sentinels Community: a project with a promising future.

I thank the great leaders of the four communities of the DNA project: @adalger - Amazing Nature, @melinda010100 - Feathered Friend, @qwierrie - Fungi Lovers, @lourdeshd6 - Insects of the World, for being an example to follow, as great leaders and like great people. I feel very excited and I know it is a big commitment.
Aquatic Sentinels Community Purpose:
Broadly speaking, we can find the purpose of this community in the logo "Share the underwater world with everyone🦀"
That is, working together, where both Aquatic Sentinels and our subscribers can share quality information in favor of aquatic species and their ecosystems.

The divulgation of marine and aquatic science🔬🦑: our priority
Aquatic Sentinels (AS) is a community that promotes the divulgation of marine and aquatic science on species and their ecosystems.
So do I have to be a scientist to publish my posts in AS? Of course not! The correct information is available to everyone today more than ever, and at AS we want to provide you with the necessary tools so that your publications are always of quality!

📸📸Do you love photography?📸📸 this is your chance! There is nothing better than telling the world what your photos represent for you and the marine world😄, with accurate descriptions that, in addition to conquering our eyes, we also take a brief lesson about nature
Aquatic Sentinels🐬: The new community of the DNA project🧬
Aquatic Sentinels is part of the DNA project!🧬
(You will find more information about this at the end of the post). It is a group of four communities dedicated to information related to nature, AS will be the fifth DNA community!

We are confident that AS will grow little by little, with the help of our subscribers and their content as well as the staff, this community will bring quality posts to Hive! In addition, there would be the possibility of receiving support from the OCD Community, a community with more than 10,000 subscribers on the Hive Blog.
This project is dedicated to the preservation of our sea, our rivers and lakes, our lagoons. Let's make it possible! Let's share scientific and quality information for the good of our aquatic world!
🐟🐋Welcome!🐬🐙

Therefore DNA searches for HIGH-QUALITY posts that aim to DESCRIBE and determine the BIODIVERSITY AROUND YOU with added EXPLANATIONS and INFORMATION. For these informative posts they offer a CURATION SERVICE using the @dna.org account. It is also a CURATION TRAIL. Just add the #dna TAG if you think that any of your posts is what they are looking for.
