Hello everyone! I have been planning to visit this community after reading the post of @nikkabomb about her passion about coffee. I, for one, am amongst these lovely people who finds the joy and comfort after having a cup of coffee at home or in their respective working places. You feel relaxed after drinking one even at the height of heat. How much more when it's raining outside!
I was glad that we were already allowed to go out though of course, we still need to follow the safety protocols. The first place that came into my mind was to visit the place of Joring's Cafe. Coffee drinkers often come here at first daybreak to sip their first up of coffee for the day, to pair it with their favorite Puto Maya.
Brewed Coffee/Brewed Chocolate
This place is one of the oldest coffeeshops here in our locality. They serve their own pure native coffee beans and grind it into aromatic Coffee powder. Honestly, I feel so blessed whenever I passed by their place and smell the aromatic coffee while it's being grilled manually.
This is called Carambola. It is a mixture of brewed coffee and grounded cocoa chocolate. The strong combination have a distinct savory taste of the blended drink in one cup.
They too make their own Puto Maya to pair with it. It's a sweetened glutinous rice.
With me in pink is Arlyn, the daughter of the owner (Joring). She now took over the management to let her mother rest from this business while they both take position as councilors in the city and Barangay office respectively. It has become their legacy as the city grew up into a prosperous one.
Their business expanded. Their clients would order powdered coffee and Tableya (grounded cocoa) hence they have developed another business for local and export deliveries. At the backdrop are packed coffee and Tableya with their business logo.
From a coffee stall, they have developed a bigger space to accommodate their loyal customers up to this date. A visit to their place was all worth it because I have made a little introduction of what this platform was all about. Perhaps I can onboard her when she's not busy one of these days.
This is all for now, thank you for dropping by my page and of course to @millycf1976 for this awesome community and @galenkp for this initiative. Keep safe everyone!
