Flash Back to Beach Nuts ⛱️ Part Four

Plastic Digger Gloves

You can move a lot of sand with these babies!

Burying your brother is the first thing that you think of when you start excavating a sand dune. I left you with our surfing fun last post, but the sun did a number on us that day. I seriously remember waking every time I moved in bed that night. Oh, the pain of sunburn!

The knuckle-head teens had fun moving sand while I had my back in the shade. The youngest had tried sledding on the hill while the older brother prepared this grave.

Here you see the glee of one as he discovers his brother's inability to move or rise to his feet. This is the kind of family fun can be had when there are no girlfriends that require attention every day. For that reason, you are seeing the eleven and fourteen year old boys who shortly after this vacation turned twelve and fifteen. If travel is ever allowed again, I would invite the girls to come and vacation with us. But, it will never be a spur of the moment decision as this one was.

A little help came from Dad. Escape was inevitable as he springs to his feat.

A quick rinse and we are winding down for the evening. I am sure there will be some sort of food post in the next of the series.

I will add links to all of the posts before it is all done so that you can click around and join us in our short vacation.
