A cold, chilled clean water can mean a lot in my culture. Offering someone a glass of cold drinkable water is one of the traditional ways of receiving a visitor in one’s home. When cold clean water is given to someone who has been working it means an offer of refreshment to the individual. The gift of clean drinking water is an honorable practice among my people.
There are so many heating conditions in the world. There are homes where the couples are no longer in harmony. There are marriages in which the oil of their love has disappeared. There are parents who are frustrated in the character and attitudes of their children. There are businesses that are suffering from bankruptcy. There are nations warring against each other. The world of our time is plagued by terrible heat. We need cold water.
The offer of cold water will quench the thirst of true love and harmony among married couples. The offer of chilled water would bring back the dying love. The offer of refreshing water would beam the light of hope and restoration in the faces of our straying siblings and loved ones. The offer of cold water would risocitate bankrupted businesses. The offer of cold refreshing water of peace would stop the wars and terrorism rocking our world. Who will help us with the cold water?
Our world needs healing. Let us all play our part in giving cold healing water wherever we have the opportunity. Let our social handles be devoid of striving generating contents. Let us offer help in cash and kind to those who are sinking in agony. Let us stop spreading rumors that are capable of tearing homes apart. In whichever way you are able, give a glass of cold, refreshing water to our world.
