What will be the future of people like me who won't get vaccinated against COVID-19?
Yesterday I was thinking about this and what I see from the perspective of my country (Brazil) is a dreadful future.
I will not be vaccinated against COVID-19 for several reasons. I don't trust these vaccines due to great political and economic interest on the part of the pharmaceutical industry in them.
I will not be vaccinated either because I don't believe in the effectiveness of these vaccines, as well as there are several reports from people about permanent reactions and even deaths after vaccination.
Not only me, but several people have made the decision that they will not be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Here in Brazil there are already bills that will punish those who do not get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Laws that will totally prevent the movement of unvaccinated people through the Brazilian national territory, in addition to other prohibitions.
There are already companies that are firing employees because they do not want to be vaccinated, and several other authoritarian and absurd measures are being taken by politicians and companies against people who do not want to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
The future that presents itself is quite frightening, intimidating. It is a fact that we are owners of our bodies, and nothing and no one has any rights over it.
But, it seems that people want anyway, and under the weak argument of "collective good" to invade our bodies, kill our will and apply without our consent, a vaccine that is experimental and there are still no conclusive studies on it.
The feeling is one of revolt, apprehension, fear and various doubts.
