A Readily Available Potion to Make you stronger and Better

What is the thing that makes homo sapiens the most superior of all the creatures in the world? Do you think these are the architectural skills, constructive abilities, way of living, or family formation and wisdom that gives him an extraordinary position on the earth? There is nothing like that. Other animals are also very expert in many things. They didn't have to go through a long phase of learning to that expertise. God has instilled the skills in them since birth.

The wisdom in hexagonal construction of bee-hive is evident. The man has to spend several centuries to reach the level of architectural abilities that termites use to build their air-conditioned mounds (Source). The way sociable weaver construct their nest by selectively choosing objects to make different layers of the nest is amazing. Their habitat of living together in hundreds of numbers indicates their bondedness (source). The life of the honey bee is not very different from human civilization. Their production of honey in hives is not very different from the production of fine products from raw material in a factory (source). Silkworm is a master in the production of silk (source). The wisdom is evident from many other activities of animals (source). It is not the physical strength either that makes the man superior to other creatures. There are certainly many other creatures that are more powerful than man physically.

Then what is the special thing that God has given to man to make him His vicegerent on earth? It is certainly the power of speech. It is the ability that has been exclusively given to man. The value of something that is exclusive and unique to someone cannot be downplayed. It is the most important for the creature's ultimate strength or weakness.

The words we speak don't only have an impact on us but on every other thing around us. If we think words only affect us when we understand their meaning, we are wrong. Words have the power to affect us even if we don't understand their meaning. The positive and negative words are found to have their impact on objects that have nothing to do with the understanding of any language. For instance, water molecules formed beautiful crystalline structures when exposed to the words of love and affection. On the other hand, the water formed a horrible molecular structure when exposed to words of disgust and hatred (source).

In another experiment, the researcher exposed cooked white rice to the words of gratitude and insult for a period of 30 days. At the end of the experiment, the rice that was thanked daily remained the same as they were on the first day, while the rice was insulted daily turned into a black gelatinous mass. (Source)

Likewise, both the damaging and beneficial effects of words have also been found on plants (Source)

Here is a beautiful song by The Green the lyrics of which tell the same phenomenon

By using a positive word for the description or expression of a difficult situation, we not only uplift the energy to face the obstacles but also feel less stressed about them. That's we should be very careful in the selection of our words. For instance, instead of saying "Don't be afraid", say "Be brave". In a study women were questioned about their feeling before cesarean section. The group that was asked "Do you have any pain?" displayed a significantly higher level of pain than the group that was asked the question "Are you comfortable?"

Our words have the strength to shape and transform our lives in the way we want them. The positive words are like the potion that can do a magical influence in making us better, stronger, and harder.

Where the positive words have the power to bring positivity to our lives, the negative impact of words is more malicious than we might have thought. A single negative word that we hear causes our brain to release a number of stress-producing chemicals which in turn affects the overall brain and body functioning negatively (Source).

Indeed, words can build us up, words can break us down.

If words have this much power, we should not only be very cautious about the words that we speak but also about the ones we hear.

To give pleasure to your ears, here is a melodious song about the power of words

This is my entry for pob word of the week malicious
