In poultry farming it is always a good routine when you have your own table which will be used as a guideline to assist you to rule your farm. It has never been easy been a farmer of any kind. If you are a crop farmer or an animal farmer you are always faced with one challenge or the other and on the other hand this challenge is Will mode you and make you a very strong farmer with different thinking and strategy making. When you book for your poultry animal you must be prepared for the arrival of your poultry Birds. For what we were thought in the university before they arrival of your poultry animals you must secure a poultry cage or poultry house before your chicks arrive. Likewise on the other hand, you must also pay attention today lightning of the Poultry cage or the Poultry house.
The lightning will help your Poultry Birds to feed at night if it is comfortable. Sometimes when you want to meet the standard of other farmers or standard of the market you must ensure that you provide light for your poultry Birds to feed at night. This will also boost their growth and development. I took some pictures of my poultry farm and here is what I have to say.
- At this stage of your poultry birds they always need to consume antibiotics this is because of several reasons. The reason being that sometimes even when your poultry birds are in day old, they may face a lot of discomfort or lack of full vaccination. This alone will be in them until it show some signs later in the future so it is better to combat any type of intestinal parasites, ecto and endoparasite and so on before the finish the whole Farm birds.
The type of poultry bet also matters a lot because when you source your poultry Birds from a very reliable source it will show in the growth and development likewise it will give farmers less work to do other than to feed them regularly and to observe which one is not feeding well and take proper records and precautions.
The type of poultry birds that you see in this article is the broiler birds. They are very fragile and the dislike transportation. But a mosy cases you can transport them early in the morning or overnight they will be very healthy and what you need to do is to give them antistress and antibiotics still.
- When you feed them you see the type of energy in feeding the in your poultry farm within 4 weeks. This is why I encourage people to always do what is called feeding test for your poultry animals but left to me individually, I prefer to train my poultry birds to feed on pallet feeds. It has a lot of advantages.
Using of antibiotics or anti stress is highly recommended. Some people do not like this aspect of farming but I can assure you that have done it several times whereby I raise some poultry Birds without giving them us supporting the growth and development with antibiotic. The response I got from the farm was not encouraging at all. Likewise some batches was grown up with antibiotics, tonics, and anti stress. They did well with the record keeping I took.
We have different ranges of antibiotics that can be used for your poultry animals without any negative effect on them.
After you might have finished with the administering of antibiotics, you also need to apply freshwater for them to drink so that it will help them to flush out the medicine.
Is either you keep your poultry birds cages, are you practice what is called free range system of keeping poultry birds.
