La Música que impactó en mi vida. Iniciativa (Esp-Eng)

Hola.

ENGLISH VERSION

Hi. How are you hivers!!! 🤗🌹💓

Here I come to participate in @ismaelgranados's initiative about the tunes that captivated me and their reasons.

When I saw this initiative I liked it because in reality music has always followed me. As a child I wanted and desired to play piano, as well as be a singer, but my parents felt they could not afford such tuition so I was left with the desire encapsulated.
Later, as a teenager, I looked for a way to that musical passion and began to participate in choirs, especially in the church where I attended. I am a soprano and since that time I belonged to groups, when I was in college our choir recorded an album and I was one of the soloists.

From what I tell you, you realize that I like music and in many varieties. I listen to salsa, merengue, pop, rock, Venezuelan cuatro and maracas, classical music, opera.

Now for this initiative as there are 3 songs I had to make an analysis because I could not find some rhythms and how they impacted me, and there are many. But I managed to define some of them and their why? Let's see....

Music in my adolescence

You know that this teenage time is difficult for some people and in my case I suffered from low esteem due to home situations and peer pressure, I lived isolated, sad, so the music was "perfect trip" to forget what was happening around me, plus it kept me off drugs.
From that time I can highlight the *disco music*, which I sang and danced, I learned several choreographies that I saw the artists on TV.
Such dances I used to repeat them in my room alone💃, as well as singing with a brush in my hand 😄 _Whoever didn't do it let him cast the first stone._ 😬 😂😂😂

Donna Summer, Bee Gees, Gloria Gaynor, Kool and the Gang, Barry White ( my favorite black guy 😍) are some of the favorite singers of that era and were played daily on every radio station.

Although most of the music was in English which is not my native language, in the magazines and newspapers were the lyrics of the songs and their translation. My friends and I collected those lyrics to understand and sing the songs. Many of them I learned by heart.

From this era I want to highlight Bee Gees which was a musical group that at that time became famous with its soundtrack of the movie "Saturday night fever" and was the best selling album at that time and according to now is the second. I love all those choreographies from the movie and if I could repeat them today I would 😂.

I invite you to check out here this catchy beat.

The romantic youth stage

Ah well, February 14 has arrived gentlemen 😍 the time of loverrr 🤣🤣

Look I fell in love many times in youth haha.... Now I realize that my self esteem was directing me towards people who paid attention to me and were affectionate with me. Normal...

Here in Venezuela in the 80's was the most prolific time if we talk about singers. Thanks to the "1 X 1" decree that obliged radio and TV stations to place one national singer for each foreign one. This helped Venezuelan singers to come out from under the stones. It was an abundant time in terms of singers and musical rhythms.

Pop and romantic music was the leader at this time, the songs accompanied me for a long time, to sing to love and spite. And as always the bathroom and my room were the platform where I showed my talent to sing and dance accompanied by my brush 😂, I would never have sung in front of a real audience.

I would sing that Black Pearl rolling on her cheek on those June Days, and I know that There are Loves that are not Forgotten because Love is without Measure, as it is a Total Surrender.... And so I could go threading songs in a poem 💓😍 and continue singing with Ilan Chester, Yordano, Fran Quintero, Al lado de Kiara, Karina, Elisa Regó, Melisa....

Sing with me with these standouts.

### To finish, now we are going to dance salsa 💃🕺

Salsa as a danceable rhythm has always accompanied me, I like it, I feel it on my skin and in my body. I enjoy dancing it inside and outside the room. My brother "nené" was the one who taught me to dance it since I was about 9 years old. He was a salsomaniac and he transmitted that taste to me.

"Come on in and fit 100.... 🎶🎶. My Cat is complaining, she can't hesitate...🎵🎶. Don't hit my black woman..... 🎶🎵. If you want to have fun... 🎶🎵. No, you don't have to cry, life is a carnival...🎶🎵" are some of the iconic salsa songs. Fania All Star, Hector Lavoe, Celia Cruz, Joe Arroyo, Dimension Latina, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, are just a few representatives of this rhythm.

I have danced, sung and enjoyed salsa since I was a child. It has helped me to laugh and also to cry, the different thing about dancing with salsa is that the sorrows are danced away! There is no body that can resist this rhythm even if they do not declare it.

Here is a salsa mix that I really like Listen to it!!!!

So much for this trip. I thank @quijotezco who invited me to this initiative because he made me do a Time Travel and it was wonderful.

Now I want to invite @evev, @graciadegenios, @danielvehe to see how their musical tastes are and why 💓💓 (I'm curious haha).
