We are in the fifth month of social isolation as a preventive measure for Covid-19 and together with my daughter we have fully complied with it, we only went out to buy food and cleaning products.
To break the routine a bit and pamper them a bit, we made a simple and very rich recipe,
Cinnamon rolls
INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl: Flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon and mix well, until there are no lumps.
In another container, place the milk, the egg, the butter and the vanilla essence. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Dilute the 7 g of yeast in warm water.
Add to the mixture that you heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Mix the liquids with the solids.
Beat or knead until you get a homogeneous and elastic dough.
Let it rest for 2 hours in a greased bowl and covered with a cloth.
After the 2 hours have elapsed, spread the dough into a rectangle approximately 5 mm thick.
Pour sugar and cinnamon over the entire dough and roll.
Cut the roll into pieces 4 cm long.
Place them in a greased mold, cover with plastic wrap and leave to rest for 3 to 4 hours.
Bake at 170ºC for 20 to 35 min
