The individual is greatly affected by his surroundings, especially his close friends, and this influence may be positive or negative, and its intensity varies according to the age of the individual.
To radically change our surroundings is very difficult for most of us, but with that, we must choose our close friends carefully. A friend from whom you do not learn good things will certainly learn bad things from him.
There is an important point worth mentioning is that children and adolescents are the most influenced by their friends, so parents should pay attention to this aspect of their children’s lives because childhood and adolescence are the two stages in which the cornerstones of the young person’s personality are laid and it is difficult to change the behaviours acquired afterward.
As the Arabic wisdom says: “Tell me who your friend is, and I will tell you who you are”
