Will it work?

We didn't know what to expect, but we were hoping to find something big enough to eat this large minnow. After a failed attempt at getting a hook-set on a bite, another fish picked up the bait and soon we had one on the line. It was a good battle, but in the end we got it, a nice-sized gar. It was a great father-son fishing trip, and it was also successful.
