Hello Hivers 💖 am so glad to share with you this morning my latest design. It was a new innovation combining a sequence with IRISH to make a lovely kaftan.
Sequence is a material commonly used by female to make a dress like gown, skirt and top, but now in fashion world anything now turns out to be a design.
So I decided to use this sequence material as the sleeve to the top and the Agbada. It was not too easy to sew but I really love to output.
MATERIALS USED
- fabric (IRISH material and sequence)
- paper stay
- hair stay
- collar stay
- thread
SEWING PROCESS
I folded the allowances added the length and sew, then I joined the shoulders and tape the neck
Then I fixed the collar, the sleeve placket and joined the sleeve to the body
then I joined the curve to the sleeve
AGBADA: making of this Agbada didn't take more time though, I just mark the centre then I make a round hole not too big for an adult, then I tape, fix a collar and close the body
FINAL LOOK
Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely day.
